Wolfsburg went on at half time 1-0 thinking let's try and keep this. 15 minutes later they're losing 5-1...

It must have been a while since a player scored a double hat-trick at the top level of professional football, shame Lewandowski couldn't get one, none of his goals were penalties either.

Swansea the only PL team to get knocked out of the cup tonight by lower league opposition (:indiff::indiff:), Kudos to Man City for naming Toure, Aguero, Sterling and De Bruyne in their team and hammering Sunderland 1-4, Villa beat Birmingham 1-0 in the big derby game..

Costa has been found guilty of violent conduct and has been given a three game ban, Gabriel has won his appeal against his red card which has now been rescinded but he still faces an improper conduct charge..

Incredible stuff in Germany tonight and Pep's reaction to it all was brilliant! :lol:

Unfortunately, over 40 of those shots were from 30 yards+ as the team seems to have no idea how to play together in the final 1/3rd.

Not too bummed about the defeat, shame it was a NLD. Can't see Fazio playing for Spurs again.

Also it was fairly classless that the Arsenal fans tore up half the stand after the game, as the game itself didn't sound too bad-tempered.

It's a shame. He was a key player for Hamburg and Spurs but he is getting old now. I could see him retiring soon.

Sunday football is looking very sparse with only the one game, I think it might have something to do with the Rugby World Cup being on, there are six games in that tournament taking place over the weekend....seven if you include tonight game...

A lot of written media saying today that Rodgers has the next three games to save his job, Home to Villa tomorrow, home to Sion the Europe on Thursday and then the derby away to Everton next weekend, if that's true then he has a massive week ahead..
