Should be a very interesting weekend, not just Arsenal v Tottenham but Bournemouth v Newcastle is something of a relegation scrap, out of sorts Chelsea have a very tricky game away to Stoke and Remi Garde couldn't really have had a more difficult first game as Villa boss!

There is an International break next week..

@Saidur_Ali Unfortunately Andy Cole has pulled out because he has suffered from kidney failure, no replacement announced yet as far as I know, get well soon Andy 👍

Lingard with a fantastic strike and a Mata penalty for United, Newcastle somehow won despite Bournemouth dominating the game, Not a lot happened elsewhere, Vardy has now scored in 9 consecutive league games, only Van Nistelrooy has scored in 10.

Vardy will probably get a ban though for flipping off the linesman earlier. Will have to wait a few weeks for him to set the record.

I don't see Chelsea keeping Mourinho that much longer. Not with them losing every other week.

Edit, another manager gone, Fulham sack Kit Symons, no surprise really as they lost 2-5 at home to Birmingham yesterday....

No idea how Spurs didn't win with the amount of injuries we have. We could've done it at the end (Giroud missed a lot of chances). Still gutting we couldn't be top of the league.

Ugh, would have taken a draw after playing Monday and Thursday but that really could have been a win.

Still, a lot of positives. We could really get Champions League.

Oh. And Kit Symonds has been sacked by Fulham after losing 5-2 to Birmingham, with Garry Monk apparently to follow. Big rumours Swansea have let him go but it's unconfirmed at this juncture.

Symons took over at Fulham last season in difficult circumstances. Meulensteen and Magath destroyed them. They were looking at consecutive relegations and he kept them up and has built up a much better team, even if they're not in the promotion hunt this season. Tough call to let him go but whoever replaces him has a much better team to work with.

Celtic had a good win yesterday, Griffiths brought his season total to 18 goals with 2 goals in 4 minutes. The boy is on fire. Some of his goals have been truly beautiful as well.

I found out about that shortly afterwards, hopefully he recovers well. 👍
 
There is something of a situation with one of my teams Swansea, a lot of speculation about Garry Monk getting the sack after some poor form in the last two months, we cant seem to get anything going right now and Gomis in particular is playing badly and missing some huge chances, Swansea have come out and said Monk is 'safe for now', however we have Bournemouth at home after the break and its a game we should win but if we don't then I think it might be time for a change....

Meanwhile, footballers of all ages are still allowed to bounce that ball with their head.

Year 11 my old school started that football where the ball can't go above head height. To think a year before a friend broke a guys nose playing rugby and got told "good tackle". Shocking how quick that stuff sneaks in. I've been left 5 years now. Dread to think what they do now.
