Where was that track at? (I should add that I watched the video at work with no sound)

I would think the altitude would have a greater affect on the NA C7, which ran a somewhat decent time.

Cecil Country Dragway, Rising Sun, Maryland 21911 Track Elevation 320 ft. So no that is pretty damn close to sea level so the DA should be pretty low.

Well it's always fun to speculate or give your opinion, which I'm pretty sure I have the right to do on here. So we'll just leave it at that.

Of course it's not fair to compare modified vs stock, but it's worth noting when comparing factory cars that one may respond better to mods than another. It will be easier to get extra power out of the Ecoboost than any of the V6 pony cars.

At that point you also have to take into account that the EcoBoost is already a more expensive engine option though. An EcoBoost vs the Cyclone skews heavily towards the former, but does it still do so with cost differential inherent to the two engines? Or, if I wanna make the V6 perform better than the EcoBoost, can I do it for less than the cost the EcoBoost carries over the V6? And if I'm going to start sinking money into the EcoBoost, can I make it a better engine than the Coyote for less than the cost of the Coyote?


Real question, because even though the engine is essentially the same one serving base Mustang for four years, I don't know anything about any aftermarket.

Who said I don't care about the times. I made that comment because I was tired of bickering with people like you. One of which got me 10 infraction points for an "insult" when I was clearly insulted first.

Has anyone noticed that with a few minor exterior mods this has become one of the best looking Mustangs ever build, it is really rivalling the '69.

This has been my favorite one since 1970. A really nice, aggressive looking car.

Stock Auto + drag radials = 13.64 @ 99mph
Stock Auto + drag radials + intake + tune = 12.98 @ 103mph

I thought the this Mustang was a handsome car even when it's stock. So yeah, it definitely looks great with mods.

Yeah this one is starting to move up on my list especially with the GT350.
 
I watched one the other night, the Hellcat vs the GT Premium Track Pack and the Z/28. They said the Mustang was the best of the as far as well roundedness went, and it was actually faster around the track than the Hellcat.
 
I just read the article and yeah; I noticed they thought the Mustang was the best choice as well. Which I have to agree. I always thought that the Mustang made the best all-rounder for a pony car.
 
They compared the GT with the Z/28 and the GT won ? Wth

They ran all 3 on the track and the Mustang was smack dab right in between the two as far as lap times go.

My lord, it's almost as if Ford doesn't need the Shelby GT350 & GT500. Yeah, Ford could just forget the Shelbys, we don't need them.


...JUST KIDDING! Please Ford & Shelby, don't stop with the production of Shelby Mustangs!
