This is probably what Australian(AUD) pricing may mimic. The current Falcon XR8 has a supercharger only and no base model. That goes for:
In an absence of a proper development budget, Ford has done the right thing by enthusiasts. In closing Ford Performance Vehicles (FPV) it has taken yesterday’s FPV R-Spec that cost $76,990, and almost identically made it into today’s Falcon XR8 that asks $54,690 in automatic trim.

It'll be interesting to see with both these cars side by side for a year and a half.

Dutch prices are still not fully confirmed but the ones I posted earlier seem to be pretty accurate.

55k Euros for the 2.3.
90-95k for the V8.

80km to the south, in Belgium it will be 40k for the V8.

1 Europe. Uhuh.

What do you expect? Would you rather the ECU not pull timing and then grenade your motor because you are too cheap to put in the proper fuel? It's a turbocharged engine running 9.5:1 compression and 18psi of boost pressure! Its amazing that it can even run on 87 octane without blowing up.
 
I was thinking the same thing. That and its probably rear wheel figures on top of it.

Next someone dyno one at high altitude and post the uncorrected numbers and some one will be shocked that it makes a lot less power.

Nope here in the Western US 91 is the most you can get.
 
Won't have that problem in Europe. UK standard unleaded is 95 with super being 97. I also believe on the continent they have 100 octane.

Your octane ratings are different.


Also we have up to like 136 here but anything over 120 is rare.
 
I've never even seen 85. Lowest here is 87. 89/91 depending on where you go is mid grade. 93 premium.

Its odd our lowest is 86 I figured our higher altitude would give us 85 as well.
 
In the Bay Area all I've seen is 87/89/91
 
Never seen 85 and never seen 91; only 93. I've seen 100 at a Sunoco on vacation though.

AKI is RON x 0.95. (It has a bit more to it but that's the simplest calculation)
