But they are not built with money from Aston, Aston don't make enough profit to build that amount of cars. They cars are owned by private individuals who go to Prodrive and order the cars no money comes from Aston.Didn't say they were funded by prodrive but rather built by them with money from Aston. Who owns them after that is beside the point, considering either way when they're raced it's a factory Aston driver in the seat.
My point was clearly missed on some tangent of wanting to correct me about a situation I didn't even bring up which is who owns these cars. The point was that AMR has no reason to give any support to AM teams nor does any other factory team that loans out factory drivers or money. AM should be just a gentlemen concession and pro should be where factory fledged drivers race, and if it were so then the best thing to do would be the allowance of GT3 cars which is the topic not who owns said Aston Martins.
Car 95 was paid for by Jan Struve
Car 96 was paid for by Roald Goethe
Car 97 was paid for by Roald Goethe
Car 98 was paid for by Paul Dalla Lana
Car 99 was paid for by Jac Nellemann but ive since heard it is now owned by a company called ECM who owners surname is Macdowall.
In fact any cars Aston want to race they enter themselves for example if you look at the entry list the cars that are from Aston Martin direct are entered as Aston Martin Test Centre (see N24 list for confirmation)
