I'd say 98 was bigger, 99 didn't have Mercedes (well it did but most know why they had to pack up) nor did it have Porsche and it didn't have McLarens that were clearly out gunned. Yes 99 did have the Toyota, Panoz, Nissan and BMW but so did 98. The only thing new 99 saw was Audi.

So I guess you're right the only thing bigger than 2015 and 99 would be another 98...

Besides the Toyota...yup. This year its slightly more different :p
Porsche - Black #17, White #18, Red #19
Audi - B&W/Silver #7, #8, #9
Nissan - Blue #21, Red #22, Black #23 (just hunches...but good hunches)
Toyota - Blue/White #1, #2 (crud...do they have a third car for Le Mans?)

Fairly sure that the only one to get the Man City colours was a show car, seem to remember seeing it mentioned on twitter. Also I don't think their gonna leave the cars as they are now, I'm expecting it'll be some form of the white/black/red scheme seen on the GT3 cars or maybe something along the lines of the GT500 livery.

Or a 2016? :D

A GT Academy livery, perhaps? Nissan has done that several times recently, so I wouldn't put it past them...

Yeah maybe something to that effect, they do have Lucas and Jann racing them.
And its speculated that the GTR will be on round 4. GTacademy livery would make a lot of sense.

Guys, I need some help. Im trying to calculate an estimate of how fast the GTR LMP will be. But I don't know enough about drag and air pressures.

If a car had a top speed of 215 and was limited only by drag, how fast would it be able to go with only 85 or 90% of the drag coefficient. Or can it not be determined by this method?

I finally got to watch the recording of Spa in on Fox Sports. The Porsches  The Audis :D The Toyotas :grumpy:
I hope all the best for Nissan. I understand they're concentrating on the big race but geez, it's going to be tough.

It's 50/50 whether they get it right or not. Audi took a short while to get it right. So did Mazda. If it can be fast like the Porsches and handle like the Quattro, it just comes down to reliability.

If it was as Fast as the Porsche and handled like the Quattro it would be fastest by miles lol.

Judging by the package I would assume it will be the fastest of all on the straights and the worst on the corners.

At the very least the Nissan will have to be the fastest on the straights, unless they have some trick mechanicals going on in the corners we haven't got information on yet.

Really awesome video explaining the advantages of the Nissan over Toyota, Audi, and Porsche this year. :)

Thanks! Brilliant video, I'm eagerly waiting to see how it goes at LM. There's lot of potential I hope Nissan will keep front engine front wheel drive setup even for next years improving design each year and so they can prove a point and adds variety to motorsport. Variety is what we don't have in F1 and what can make endurance racing even more interesting.

I don't expect a win nor a podium but would be cool if they are the fastest on some parts of the track because of their innovative design.

I'm all for dry races but, If it rains during the weekend, that should even things out. Hopefully.

The BR01 now in full race colours.

I am not a fan of that SMP BR01 livery. It looks a little disjointed with no flow from front to rear. Also, the wheels which we have seen on GTE cars for years now do not look right on an LMP. For me the KCMG livery is the nicest LMP2 livery hands-down.

It looks taller then any other P2 cars! Or is the rear wing just lower then the others?

I reckon that is the airbox on the top, the Dome is similar but the black paint somewhat disguises it.

Na its the fin. It looks like the distance between the wing and the top of the fin is bigger then other cars. Also the wing supports are usaly the same hight as the wing.
