Na its the fin. It looks like the distance between the wing and the top of the fin is bigger then other cars. Also the wing supports are usaly the same hight as the wing.

Sorry I was rushing. I meent to say the wing supports are usaly the same night as the fin. Sorry if that corsed any confusion.

But I still think it's taller. I don't know what the strakka has to do with it.

Look at the speed indicator for the Nissan on the simulated Mulsanne straight without hybrid power. 325 KPH (203 MPH)

There is talk that Ford could show the GT GTE as early as next week. I think it's more likely to be shown during Le Mans week so as to maximise exposure.
I'd argue the Nissan LMP got way more exposure than any other Le Mans car and it may not even race and/or probably will finish last

Argue? That's not even debatable, thus will happen,

I highly doubt they will get last. But yes it gets a lot of coverage, because it surprised everyone. And now we want to see how it performs. :)

I'd say it got the most coverage because Nissan reserved a spot on the most watched television event of the year for it whereas revealing a car at Le Mans won't get much notoriety outside of those who follow sports car racing closely

No, its because its FF instead of MR. I am 100% sure.

I'm sorry but your somewhat wrong on this one. I know people who don't know a thing about racing yet they were talking about that Nissan after the Super Bowl comercial.
When I saw the super bowl with a group of 15 people. I was the only one that cared. Was like "Oh my god thats the new Nissan LMP, I was trying to find pictures of it last week!" I noticed there was a lot of talk about the commercial., because it was a great commercial. Just didn't seem like they were talking about LMP specifically. Was just a generic "go fast" car to most people.

Then they announced "FFs" then the whole racing community was like.   :dunce:  :mischievous: :sly: :p 👍 👎 :yuck: :grumpy: :banghead:  :ouch: :odd:  :scared: :boggled: :irked: :indiff:

Meaning that everyone had a reaction to it, some were positive, some were negative, and some were neutral, I don't know of anyone that was not surprised by it being FF(That's interested in racing).

Darren Cox earlier already confirmed they would have 3 cars and they are in the 2MJ class. They will be there. Just do not expect anything spectacular, this is a nice 24hr test session for them. Their goal, which has been their main goal since the start of this whole thing, is to win in 2016.

Given the lack of reliable runs in two out of the last three Le Mans, 2MJ might just be good enough to get a car to the finish without significant delay. Anything can happen then.

Bolded for emphasis.

I'd bet a few dollars the 2016 car looks absolutely nothing like this year's car either.

Given that it's such a revolutionary design this is pretty much undebatable and i doubt anyone would bet against that.
