The Toyota looks like they've made some minor adjustments. It looks more aerodynamically sound now though. The headlights are slightly more rounded near the middle, middle fins behind the tires look smaller and similarly shaped, and the rear tire swoops upwards slightly under the wing. Audi made some major adjustments to be faster but, I think Toyota have done minor things to improve a lot over 1 lap.

Rumors on another forum is theyve gained 20 "points" of downforce(?) with the same drag as last year. I think thats means a gain in l/d of 20%. No wonder other stories are talking about 2-3 seconds improvement per lap for Toyota.

Marvellous. Now he can crash into Toyotas instead of chucking them at the armco himself... :banghead:

He's not in a Pro-Am Ferrari so the chances are very low.

Still, it amazes me that he still ended up with a ride, unless KCMG was desperate.

And i'm hearing similar from other places.

Looks like this might be the first Ben Bowlby Idea we won't even see in a race period.

Nissan will of course be at 24h du Mans. They may be currently having some issues but in the end they will pull it all together. Also, Nissan only begun testing with the hybrid system quite recently and admit they are about 4 months behind schedule hence the postponement of it's WEC debut until Le Mans.

Nissan was also open, as they have been all along, in saying it may run the GT-R LM Nismo exclusively as a FWD even when using it's ERS. I have no worries about Nissan aborting it's programme and hope they have some positive news soon.

SMP's BR01 LMP2 looks pretty damn cool. There is something about a racecar in bare carbon-fibre which looks incredible.

Finally, I am happy to see Nico Lapierre will be back, this time for KCMG, for the 6h Spa and 24h du Mans. He is quick and it was a shame to see him disappear for personal reasons. I expected him to pop-up at Nissan.

It is hilarious that some people on Twitter are debating whether this is the Nissan or Porsche. There are people saying the headlights resemble the 919. I cannot understand how they cannot see that it is a mid-engined car... therefore it is the Porsche.

Am I seeing things or is that a RED Porsche 919? :odd:
You are seeing right.

Nissan have now apparently passed.

Sneaky sneaky leaky leaky from Paul Ricard and Buemi:

Well, so much for all modern LMPs being white...

It's odd to see the 919 painted red, maybe it's Porsche taking a quick jab at Nissan?

Don't forget the DMG Mori sponsorship on the fin, that's the ultimate proof.

They were all white and now all have red in the livery.

The small Adidas logo was the clincher!

Maybe Porsche is trying to get on France's good side and have cars in red, white, and blue...or maybe America. :P
