Keep in mind the Audi was a dog last year and still scraped 2 wins. GT500s are quicker than the 2014 R18 was. Anything can happen.
You are right but I have the feeling Audi is the best team when it comes to strategy, pit stop speed, repairing damages and their car this year is unquestionably the fastest on turns.
They also have Trouleyer (or whatever the name is) which is the fastest LMP1 driver in my opinion.
Porsche need a little step up on corner speed and more luck on #19 car since they have Webber and Hulkenberg that could match Trouleyer pace.
Guys guys, the winner will be an Imprezza with an LMP-1H engine fitted piloted by a Canadian for all 24 hours.;)
Looking at your avatar it fits quite well here. :)

Its Tréluyer ;)

He isn't the fastest guy out there. That is Andre Lotterer. He is the fastest on almost any track (in comparsion with all other Audi drivers) and very consistent. If you'd watched last years 24h race you'd know what I mean. His driving made me almost wet my pants. He drove a quadruple(!) stint on the same tires and was 2 minutes faster during this time than the leading Porsche. The only guy who may have his speed AND consistency is Nakajima in the Toyota

Yes Andre Lotterer is another alien.
I've heard Nakajima had a bad injury on his back. Any news?

I really hope to see some luck for the #19 Porsche so Mark and Nicolas can fight for the win against the best endurance drivers. I'm also curious to see what Alonso can do against them hopefully in 2016 or 17.

No news other then Kobyashi is the replacement driver, but that's not concrete yet,

Yes it is. Toyota have said it before that he is reserve driver, even on their website. No reason for him not to be. They said over the weekend that hes endurance tested for them twice already. Now the news is he will be testing again at Spa starting on the 19th. :)

By the way, someone asked about Nissan's status, here you go

Here I have quoted my post for you to reread,

Read it a few times and just let the English absorb in ;)

@trustjab

The Batman theme song from the 60s popped into my head when the Nissan flew by. I hope they do play that song when the camera is following that down the mulsanne.

Aerodynamically, this car looks like it has the least amount of drag. The amount of flat land on that body compared to the others is very noticeable.

"But thats not concrete yet" ...so, according to you, the news he is replacement driver is "not concrete". So how is it news if its not concrete? It is concrete, Toyota say so. As you said- I have quoted your post for you to reread. Unless you speak some special 'English', "not concrete" means its not a done deal, which is wrong.

He's not replaced Nakajima in the seat yet, we know he's the choice,

If Kazuki is out which is likely, Kobayashi is 100%.

besides do you think Toyota would want to risk a partially fit driver in a gruelling 24 hour race?

Can they have 4 drivers at test day?

Did anybody watch the Periscope footage last night? The access Nismo give is quite incredible.

Is that just bare carbon? My eyes might be deceiving me so I'm not sure.
Yep, she is all types of naked. It looks amazing in bare carbon fibre.
