Looks like it has some design elements from the NISMO GTR, but without the complete flow-through structure.

Sadly isn't that the same "reveal/test" livery they use every year now? I wish it was the actual livery.

It will be slightly easier to tell apart the Audi and Porsche next year if Porsche keep the same livery as this year as this last 2 years they have looked nearly identical.

Thats what great about this car, its a stern reminder that they're built for performance, not looks.

What worries me is that it looks like a LMP2 or LMP3 car. I wish the regulations would make them look alot more different then they currently do.

Audi's press conference confirmed it was a Li-ion battery hybrid. Nothing on if its pure kers or combined with an ers-h type system.

A question: Putting obvious loyalties aside, are there any teams or groups you have absolute respect for in the current world of sportscar racing? I am an Aston Martin man through and through but to me Corvette Racing, despite having been for 10 years almost the major rivals to AMR are the most impressive team I have ever watched. Especially in the GT1 days, and early GT2/E. They turn up every year, the only race they have in Europe, and just hammer down and get on with it. The cars are always built so reliable, not so much tough but reliable - when do you ever hear of a works Corvette breaking down? - and the team are like the GT version of Audi with being able to fix cars and assist others - see the miracle job on the Larbre C7R at Le Mans this year. And they are always such good sports and clean hard racers about it. 👍

Absolute respect needs to be given to Rebellion Racing.

For the last few years, they have been waving the flag for the privateer LMP-1 efforts. A difficult task for them going against the ever-changing and increasingly superior hybrids from the major automakers.
