They say three...but there were only two real changes. The high downforce and then low downforce which they all ran the rest of the season. Am I missing something?

Really this is a kind of non-restriction, capping off the craziness before it gets crazier.

A real restriction would be saying you can only run one aero kit, with a clause allowing for a second one should your car be under-performing.

Two big changes, but they make little adjustments to the aero kits each couple races. I think the 2014 Porsche never had an identical kit for more than two races in a row.

'Sup with the deep dishes on the back of the GTR LM? Testing tires was their aim, but looks like the rears are wider now

Actually same size as the fronts now. Bodywork taper and shadow maybe make it seem a bit more than it is.

It looks like they are doing pit stop practice so they're probably just spares they had laying around so they don't ruin perfectly good ones.

If that were the case, there would be tires laid out. Theres no reason to think they have no spares. Plus it was on the official twitter handle. I think they may be trialing wider rears.

Besides those rears don't look at all like the insane quality stuff run on LMP1's. They don't even have the Michelin markings.

No it's not. Drivers come and go. A big hit would be if Isis blew up all there cars.

Wow! That's way over the top,

Kevin was the most diverse driver in Mclarens line up, he could go to a track anywhere in the world and be immediately on the money, not many drivers have that ability and non of which remaining in McLarens line do have that ability,

Still got SVG

Kevin was already racing with Porsche this year in WEC.

Are you sure on that? I doubt Dane will be letting him venture off to much, and while I like the Giz he's not quite up to Kevin's calibre,

I too am a fan of SVG, but I don't think he's quite at Kevin's level. The other thing with SVG is due to his V8 commitments, he's not available to do as many events as Kevin did for McLaren last year. I can maybe see SVG doing some of the BlancPain Endurance series like he did last year, but not the Sprint Series, and not PWC. I aslo wouldnt be surprised to see RBRA keep SVG a little closer to home, which is a shame.
