They would have qualified on slower tyre if that was the case. Just poor strategy by the team, both in qualifying and in the race compared to Ferrari. Still can't believe they essentially aiming to come second or third with Hamilton while they had a tyre option to redeem themselves that would have given possibility to have a race winning chance at least, surely it couldn't be that worn.
 
Merhi still running, 3 laps down. That'll be nearly as satisfying as a win for Manor.

If it's had a heat cycle and they thought it wouldn't last then what can we say?

This is pretty awesome, I'm a Lewis and Merc fan due to them not crying like a certain RBR, but this is awesome for Vettel and more so for Ferrari. They finally did what many said they should and after two races a podium and a win it shows that they needed passion and less board room and politics.

Vettel just proved why he is a WDC, it wasn't luck...now Kimi...
