I'd love to know where some of you are getting this idea that Nico tried to ruin Lewis's lap, when Lewis had already beaten his time by well over a second several laps previously. Had Nico been in P1 at the time, then there'd be some weight to the theory. But the idea of Nico in P2, with Lewis on provisional pole, trying to ruin Lewis's lap, despite the fact he'll gain nothing from it, rather than trying to improve his own time, really does stink of Rosberg hater's gonna hate.

What I think happened was that Hamilton was on his flier but Rosberg wanted to coast for a lap and then push when the track was at its driest, Hamilton caught Rosberg in an awkward section of the track and Rosberg didn't want to weave to the inside.
 
Is the race about 9 and a half hours from now?
 
Might be a little more than that, starts 8am here in the UK and its 10.40pm now
 
Clocks are going forward 1 hour aren't they? So does that mean it's roughly 8 hours now?
 
Oh so that's why I thought the time has changed.

Because to the outside viewers (include a world champion and a very experienced GP driver) that was exactly how it appeared.

Lewis has later said that Nico didn't baulk his lap but for you to cry fanboyism one way actually draws attention to exactly the opposite extreme.

Hamilton was up on sector 1 and then was clearly blocked by Rosberg going into turn 7 & 8 as Rosberg forced Hamilton off the racing line, as he was cruising and not looking like doing a hotlap.

Yes it was a block and if Rosberg wasn't in a Mercedes he would of got a penalty for it.

Mercedes have obviously told their drivers to keep quiet about it so he doesn't get a penalty.

It's obvious - Rosberg, the German, is trying to get back at Hamilton, the Briton, for Germany's humiliation in those other great sporting rivalries of the 20th Century, World War 1 and World War 2.

I recall that after Germany beat us in the World Soccering Events a commentator noted that it was only fair for them to beat us at our national sport, after all we'd beaten them at theirs twice. Hurrah for Churchill etc. etc.

To be fair I don't see Nico fans accusing Lewis of trying to asphyxiate him to death, whenever he breathes in the same room...

Seeing as Lewis has a history of saying what he thinks, rather than what's asked of him to say, you'll forgive me if I have trouble believing that. Rosberg let Hamilton past on the inside, and Lewis still seemed to get back on line easily enough, and got through the corner with good speed. He didn't back off right after that corner, suggesting that he indeed felt he was not blocked, and that the lap was still on. Because he gunned it down the straight between that corner, and the turn nine hairpin. It wasn't until after the hairpin that he slowed.

Had you watched that lap carefully you'd have seen Nico had several cars in front of him, which is why he backed off. And as we see Hamilton coming up to the turn nine hairpin, with Rosberg directly behind him, we can hear those cars
accelerating away from the hairpin. So his comments that he wasn't blocked, and that he backed off because of traffic, are perfectly plausible.

No Nico didn't have cars ahead of him, he had cars behind him and he backed off, i know this because the camera was focused on him the enitre time(Massa passed him on T3, as rosberg was cruising the entire lap, thats why he was just ahead at the start of the clip)

there was no one else around when he blocked Hamilton as well.

Fox Sports coverage is much better with the driver explaining their lap. Lewis in this case.

The BBC wanted a lady in charge of F1 and chose Suzy Perry over the very good female F1 journalists who were already on the programme.

Suzy Perry is ghastly, she haltingly and emotionlessly repeats the voice from her ear piece and has about as much F1 knowledge as my cat (who only knows that sometimes F1 causes an earlier breakfast).
 
Will Stevens not to race as Manor haven't solved the fuel issue he had yesterday during qualifying...

Those are cool vests. They always wear them in Malaysia because it's the hottest race on the calendar.

Looks like Rosberg still has his panties in a bunch after trying to joke with Vettel at the press conference after Australia. Those crazy Germans they are hiraruous
