This thread just got hilarious.
Seems you're both wrong.

Rice
Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancements
Basically trying to make a otherwise stock econobox look racy.
Which is why I never called it rice 👍. Was just answering the question posted before me.
Also it's not a term I'd ever use.
whut?Does the normal Impreza not count? It did for previous generations.
For crash tests. Before, instead of the WRX/STI, the testers used normal Imprezas.whut?

He only has trouble seeing it at the start. He didn't move his head at all later on when launching at 4k/4.5k. My guess is that he's just trying to be really accurate to answer the questions he was asked.
The one thing I thought was odd is him shifting to 5th @35mph. 35mph in 5th is probably like ~1700.
It just makes no sense to me. You get worse fuel economy and are far from the powerband in case you need to get going, which would require a shift to 4th. 4th in the wrx is ~2100rpm at 35mph which is pretty low as well so why do 5th and not 4th?I don't find that odd. My car has 100lbs*ft of torque and I often cruise at 35mph in 5th (top) gear.

Is there proof? I'm convinced that, at least for flat ground and downhill, 5th is always more fuel efficient than 4thIt just makes no sense to me. One thing I noticed from that video that really bothers me...
car makers should make a special place for wires to go. Wires from GPSs and other stuff are extremely annoyingWhat bothers me is that he has a brand new car and he still has to get a stupid looking aftermarket phone holder with a cable running across his dash ruining everything about his interior.
