Any word about Zlatan joining United yet?

Nope, he's said many times now in interviews that he won't reveal where he's going until he gets bored of all the press speculation. So basically he's playing games with everyone just because he feels like and he can get away with it. If everyone stops asking him about it and not bother about him anymore, he'll no doubt have to reveal it just to keep the attention on himself.

He promised a 'Summer bomb' on Tuesday which never exploded...

Wait until after the Euro's.

I heard that he wants to wait until he gets his loyalty bonus from PSG.

David de Gea named in rape case allegations.

Manchester United and Spain goalkeeper David de Gea has reportedly been implicated in a Spanish rape case by a protected witness in a court case, along with former Spain Under-21 teammate Iker Muniain.
Spanish news outlet El Diario is reporting that the witness was giving evidence in the trial against director Ignacio Fernandez Allende (also known as Torbe), jailed since last April on charges of human trafficking for sexual exploitation, sexual assault and child pornography, related to prostitution, extortion and money laundering.

The unnamed witness claimed that she was taken to a hostel, assaulted by Muniain and one other unnamed footballer, after Torbe had forced her against her will, promising payment.

De Gea has been implicated as the person who called Torbe to arrange the meeting, with the witness also reporting that they kept in touch afterwards to a bid to keep her quiet. The Spanish shot-stopper is also said to have tried to arrange another encounter with five Manchester United players, but there is no evidence that this took place.

De Gea is also said to be mentioned in another piece of testimony in which a minor claimed to have been raped by Torbe, claiming that the incident was filmed so that De Gea and players from Spanish club Athletic Bilbao could watch.

The timing could not be worse on the eve of Euro 2016, with the revelations potentially meaning De Gea’s participation in the tournament will be in doubt. More serious concerns could follow if he were found to have played a part in either reported rape.

Bad news for Chelsea fans.

He shows more performance here than all season for NUFC.

And Gini Wijnaldum is on way to Roma. Set to replace Pjanic.

I hope it works out for him, and that he will be a great manager. He is such a friendly giant. Scary as hell but friendly.

I hope so too as a United fan, such an immense player for us, Am I right in thinking this is his first job as a manager?, I know he was a coach at Ac Milan

He started as interim at PEC Zwolle, became assistant the following year, then he went to Ajax as assistant, after that he was a head coach at the youth of Ajax.

Aymeric Laporte signs contract extension at Bilbao, bad news for the several big name clubs in Europe chasing him....

Currently looking into Crystal Palace at Philadelphia Union friendly for my son's b-day. He's a big Wickham fan so this may work out perfectly...

So who thinks Aston Villa will be as big as Barcelona or Real Madrid (or any other club regarded as a great club) in around five years time?

Their new owner, Tony Xia sure hopes they will anyway.

Firstable they had to beat Newcastle in Championship. Then we'll see.:lol:

The Manchester Derby will be the fourth game of the season the game after the window closes.

Sky and BT will announce their TV schedule for the first few months in the next few weeks..

The Metro labelled it as "one of the eye catching fixtures announced." How can any fixture be eye catching when everyone plays everyone?

FC Twente will stay on the highest tier in the Netherlands. The KNVB decided to relegate Twente after financial fun times by the former heads of the club, who were all removed from their positions, FC Twente then got the time to get everything in order to remain in the Eredivisie, in which they succeeded, but still a couple of bobos at the KNVB decided Twente had to be relegated, probably because those in charge wanted to show who was boss.

But now a judge has ruled that Twente have done everything they were asked and therefore the relegation was a no no.

Berty van Oostveen and his henchmen must be pissed off.

Ah, so they may still survive yet. Might there be an exodus of players, given the perilous financial situation?

That I do not know. I hope for Twente and the Eredivisie all together that Twente will be back in the top 6 this season.
