Liverpool in deal for Saido Mane for £34 million rising to £36 million, at least 10 million too much for him IMO

Hope we can sort out the Ibrahimovic and Mkhitaryan deals this week...

PSG appoint Unai Emery on a 2 year deal.

Man Utd close the deal on Mkhitaryan for around €42m with Dortmund looking at Bellarabi to replace him.

Zabaleta is to join Roma for £3m.

Celtic and Brendan Rodgers made their first summer signing yesterday, Moussa Dembele from Fulham:

Seems like a good prospect who was highly rated and wanted by numerous clubs. Hopefully he is one for the future. :D

Also Dwight Gayle and Matt Ritchie are set to join The Toon. (via SkySports)

I wanted Ibra to join Inter, we need a real top player to be important again :(
Inter have a bright future in Icardi, Perisic and Eder.

Ben Arfa passes a medical at PSG.

Crystal Palace agreed a deal for Mandanda for around £2m.

Also, Barca have agreed a deal for Umtiti which is almost likely around the £30-40m figure.

Newcastle United have completed the signing of Dwight Gayle from Crystal Palace.

The 25-year-old striker arrives at St. James' Park for an undisclosed fee and has put pen to paper on a five-year deal.

Gayle began his professional career at Dagenham & Redbridge and spent time on loan at Bishop's Stortford and Peterborough United before joining the latter permanently in January 2013.

However, just six months later Palace made their move for the front man in a then-club record switch, and Gayle spent three seasons at Selhurst Park, finishing as the Eagles' top scorer in each of them and featuring in the 2016 FA Cup final at Wembley.

"It's a dream come true to be at a big club like this," said Gayle.

"Newcastle has a massive fan base and a great history so it is amazing to be here.

"I can't wait to get started, prove myself and score the goals that take us back up to the Premier League. It's where this Club belongs."

Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez added: "Dwight is a great player, a proven goalscorer, and it is fantastic news that he has joined us.

"He has a big personality, a lot of energy and pace. He is a good finisher also, so he will add goals to our squad, for sure.

"He knows English football well, too, and that is important in the Championship.

"I am sure Dwight will want to prove he can make a big difference to our team and I am looking forward to working with him."

Matt Ritchie was spotted on Newcastle Airport yesterday. And Andros Townsed is on the way to London to join Alan Pardew's Crystal Palace. So, welcome on left-back Andros? #pardewed

Chelsea agree a deal for Diego Lopez for €10m.

Benatia is set to move to Juventus.

Valencia agree a deal for Nani at around €8.5m.

Roma have made a permanent deal for El Shaarawy.

This entire page is insane. Foreign player after foreign player going to the top clubs, meanwhile Freefall Palace spend £13m on a relegated English player not good enough to play for an England team beaten by Iceland.

It can't go on for much longer, something needs to be done about it, I'm just not sure what can be done to stop this nonsense, the clubs hold all the cards.

All English players have been way overpriced for a long while now (this was not helped when the EPL decided you had to have a certain number in your squad) and now with the new TV deal all foreign players will be way overpriced too.

On the subject of Palace and silly signings I find the Mandanda one even worse, that's now 4 potential number one keepers at one club. :boggled:

That'd be absolutely EPIC Championship season!

And Neymar have signed new deal with Barcelona. Maybe now he'll earn more money per week than Jonjo?:lol::lol:
