First time 3 different drivers from a team have won all 3 races in the same day? New record?
 
Got back about 7:00 last night. Worn out, tired, red-faced from the sun but very happy for my fave team WSR. Is it also the first time that three drivers have won all three races in a day having come 1-2-3 in one of them?

I am a big BMR fan too but I am miffed that JP did what he did in Race 1. Sacrificing on getting any kind of result to just achieve a fast time in order he starts well in Race 2 is a little cheeky.
 
I understand what JP did and why, but I feel it let the fans down in seeing JP come through the pack ( sorry, bash his way through the pack ) as he obviously had a fast car.
I can't see JP being quiet if the roles were reversed at say Knockhill and WSR did it and put one of their cars ahead of him.

Alan Gow says anyhow in the article he doesn't want a repeat of early 2000. With Btcc arguably the strongest it ever has been right now it would take a lot to force Toca out imo.

The MSA have done a solid job with it, I don't see any reason to change something that isn't broken. New owners is just asking to ruin what we have; it can't exactly be improved much.
 
I would say it might be the person that's been testing it.

Just turned the TV onto ITV4 and the program isn't running its full course and it stopping for the French Open at Half 1 until 3:15... So I guess TV Viewers will miss Race 2? :sick:

No the football is on ITV1 where they usually put the tennis final so they put it on ITV4 instead where most of the tournament has been on

It is more the uncertainty that is getting to me. MSV could and probably would radically alter the BTCC. It is at it's most competitive and healthy now as it is. TOCA and the MSA must keep the series at all costs.
 
The BTCC is very healthy and getting better each year, Alan Gow has done a very good job making the BTCC as competitive as it is and using a hard hand when needed, I don't feel MSV will improve the BTCC.
Though it would be nice to see what the MSV propose.

I'm really pleased to hear that TOCA will continue to run the championship. However, I'd like to raise concerns about your phone choice @Furinkazen ;):p
 
Abbot out of RAR for Knockhill due to becoming a dad. Team after second driver as a result.
