When someone is quite obviously trolling, what else can you do?
I'm not trolling - I'm not looking to cause trouble for the sake of causing trouble. I'm quite firm in my belief that, while exceptionally talented, Hamilton is nowhere near as good as he is made out to be. I have detailed the reasons behind this at length multiple times. People choose to disagree with me on that, which is fine; I don't expect it to be a popular opinion. And I am open to being persuaded to change my mind, but so far nobody has made a compelling enough case. So what do you expect me to do, just go away? I've seen forums do exactly that - if you don't hold the popular belief, you're banned from participating.

And all that would be fine, if that was all you did. Your posts blaming Lewis for the coming together in Austria were the rantings of a madman.

And as I have said in the past, Hamilton lost the benefit of the doubt with me a long time ago. How many incidents do we see where drivers are forced wide or off the track? Relatively few. And how many of them involve Hamilton? Almost all. While his moves might be legal under the letter of the regulations, they certainly aren't within the spirit of them. So I find it very difficult to trust that his move was above-board.

But when we are talking about a statement of fact (Nico caused a collision with Lewis in Austria) benefit of the doubt isn't required. And your dislike of Lewis means you cannot see anything else other than to blame him.

In F1, there is no such thing as the spirit of the regulations. They are black and white.

And the thread has gone to **** already.

*retreats back to the infield.

Channel 4 doing 'Carry On Racing' it seems.

Someone on Twitter suggested this lot doing Top Gear, thats a great shout!

How's the weather looking in England? Can we expect some rain for the race?
I have just checked a weather app and apparently it's cloudy down at Silverstone with a 10 to 20% chance of rain during the race.

Edit

A few drops of rain on the helicopter camera

Looks like it's going to be dry during the race with no rain due til after its over. Not sure how reliable BBC weather is though.
Not very. The past three weeks or so we've had this dreary weather and rain constantly appears when not predicted and vice versa.

So honestly the only reliable forecast is looking up and what you feel on your head. It could do anything.

The Mercedes will take each other out at the first corner and Max wins the race.

Everyone collides in T1 thanks to the Mercedes duo except the McLarens putting them a lap ahead of everyone else. Alonso and Button go on to produce a proper race between world champion teammates. No collisions, no arguing post race, just a proper fight up front.

Please if there is a racing god, make this happen. :D

Ha, Lewis loves the Nico sign.

I expect the Mercs will give each other huge room in T1, after that who knows.

Button and Alonso battle it out till the end and then both Honda engines say POOF and Max cruises to victory. Giving Jensie and Fernie a sympathy pat on the shoulder.

I would cry tears of joy, manly tears, of course...

..and there you go. Big ass black cloud appears, rain soon follows.

I hope this isn't the only shower, another wet to dry race would be boring, I want unpredictable!

You are correct judging by the weather during the grid walk.

Fingers crossed for an exciting race.
