I wonder if there's some kind of problem on Rosbergs car. His performance is awful.

He knows Ricciardo is on worn tires... the most prudent thing to do is keep distance to keep from wearing his tires down in turbulence, because he will definitely have an advantage come the pit window.

Well joking aside the next step would be a rule change mid-race. I can see it happening with track limits.

Already been done. 2008 Belgian GP. Rule clarification with penalty applied retroactively to Lewis Hamilton. Which means the new rule and penalty technically did take effect mid-race.

I'm not sure why I keep watching these races... You have the likes of Hamilton dominating while the beat drivers in the world are stuck in second rate cars. I really hope 2017 comes and gives us an equal grid....
There's some amazing racing going on in Spa right now. :D

F1 will never be 'equal' whether we like it or not. That's just how F1 works, sadly.

I'm trying to start following proper racing like GT3. Unfortunately there's just so many names to remember... I've just gotten the hang of WEC. And weather tech. :p

Sorry should have clarified.

I meant having a closer grid. I used to think Vettels era was dominant, but this is just absurd. If only 3 drivers are winning over 20 races, there's something seriously wrong

My issue is that Merc has the 4th or 5th best driver lineup on the grid and yet they're winning everything thanks to Ross Brawn

So who's definitely better than Hamilton?

We know for sure that Alonso is about equal with him... and Vettel might be thereabouts, considering how both dominated team-mates in qualifying before the drive-by-wire brakes were brought in, ruining things for heavy late brakers like Vettel.

Other than that, we don't really know how everyone compares. For sure, Ricciardo is good. Verstappen is good... everyone else... we won't know until they get in a decent car.

Here we go again wth Vettel and blue flags...

Nice fight between Max and Nico!

Hmm... borderline there between Nico and Max. Max complains, but Nico had his nose in front, so he should have had the rights to that corner.

Vettel keeping the radio fresh, blue flag moaning. Come on Seb mix it up a bit, complain about the yellow flags.

That happens in F1 though, it always has. Mercedes domination will end at some point.

Rosburg does it again.

Rosberg.

If disagree... Between 2010 and 2012, when the McLaren was quite a bit better than the Ferrari, it was still Alonso out and winning races while Lewis dos nothing of significance. It was only when he got his OP Mercedes that he did anything worth mentioning...

My opinion. Some might disagree but I really don't think he's anything special.
