Nico is really making history here... just not the history he'd like to be making. He's really choking here.

Because that doesn't apply to what they feel his infringement was, forcing someone off the road is not directly related to the overtake.

I think it's harsh to be honest, ran out of braking space. Then again I'm not a steward.

Woah. Weird penalty on Rosberg...

Okay, on one hand, Nico was coming from behind, when you're overtaking, you have to make it stick, and you're responsible for avoiding collisions.

On the other hand, in many cases these past few seasons, the driver with his nose in front has been given the benefit of the doubt when boxing out on the corner exit. Nico was enough ahead on that exit that he could box out. They should have given that one to him.

That time penalty is balls. A stern and fair overtake from Rosberg. Verstappen didn't see the move coming and his brief swerve to the inside made Rosberg's line much tighter.

This is nothing compared to Austria. I want to see more overtakes like that of today.

My issue isn't with the dirty tactic or even whether or not it should have possibly been given to him if he was far enough ahead, my issue lies exclusively with consistency.

And that it's Max complaining about a questionable maneuver just sweetens the pot in my mind.

Max is more Hamilton than Hamilton. But then again drivers like Max make the entertainment these days.
