Mwahahaha nice 5 seconds there.

GG nice 5 secs there Nico.

I sympathize with Rosberg a little there. Even though his move was a little dodgy, it was pretty much a reaction to Max's late swerve (again) under braking.

Yeah Nico may have been in the wrong but no the time penalty is way too harsh for that. He should be fuming

8 seconds? Must be 5 seconds from FIA + 3 seconds extra from Mercedes-AMG for being naughty in front of the home crowd. :D

Maybe that is the solution to end their domination, Mercedes self-imposed extra penalties.

And now the crowd is gonna boo Hamilton for no reason.

That time penalty is balls. A stern and fair overtake from Rosberg. Verstappen didn't see the move coming and his brief swerve to the inside made Rosberg's line much tighter.

This is nothing compared to Austria. I want to see more overtakes like that of today.

It was a rubbish overtake that entirely relied on Verstappen not turning in. I'm glad they penalised him, we don't want to encourage the drivers to attempt such 🤬 overtakes. Anyone can brake way too late and not turn in, there's no skill to it.

Rosberg's pace still not good at all. Very weird that.

How are the Red Bulls going to go 20 laps on S.S tires?

Maybe he can't switch his tyres on like Hamilton or has a small problem starting

Not sure, his pace has been pretty below expected during the whole race.

Easy, fly.
Dont need tires when you fly, after all "Red Bull gives you wings"
Get your coat on the way out

Excellent overtake from Gutierrez there

Saw a poll asking if F1 is boring or not. 53% agree it is while 47% says its not

Ricciardo's sarcastic message on the radio

Ricciardo, regarding backmarker and blue flags: "I love this guy"

Engineer: "He does that to everybody. It's not just you."

Oh, Gutierrez...

Gutierrez shouldn't be expecting too many Christmas cards from fellow drivers.

Can a driver get a black flag for ignoring blue flags all the time?

We can dream...

Does it get very cold in Mexico in the winter? I believe he will be getting a lot of coal in his stockings...

Red Bull will jump Ferrari in the constructors if it stays this way. Wasn't this supposed to be the year Ferrari finally took it to the Mercs?

I don't care how much stick I get for this, because it's frustrated me for so long. This 'park it on the apex and deliberately run someone off' crap is becoming more and more popular, and it's the downright laziest, most half-hearted and cheap way of getting it done. I've grown up around circuit racing of every shape and size, and regardless of the series, it's general racing etiquette to actually try and leave some room for a car on the outside no matter how far alongside you are. I'm glad the stewards were willing to stand up to it. If you tried that in F3 you'd be kicked all the way up to the clerk of the course. It's not proper racecraft, it never has been, and it shouldn't be now.

High chance of rain in 5 minutes, Ricci reporting light drops on t1 :P
