Wow, fell asleep last night after taking my pain meds and didn't get to see the end of the race but damn, Kyle Busch is the man. 👍 I'm probably one of the few people that liked him way back when no one else did, but I held on knowing that if he did some maturing, he would be something great. Well, he is well on his way and I am proud to be a fan of his. "KB18FAN"...anyone remember that name from around here? :sly:

I too fell asleep, and have always liked Busch. But I am not saying he is fully matured yer... :D

He is one of the greatest. Lets be honest about that. Also, I love when he wins Nationwide Races. Why? Because the dude loves to race! Not only that, but he is getting practice. He knows how nuch that helps him. Everybody who doesn't like it, that is their problem.

Are any of us really ever really fully matured?  (I know I can freely admit I'm not and I'm 50 years old.) At any rate and as far as Kyle's participation in the lower series, I spoke about that earlier in this thread and just to expand on it a little more, let me say this. I do agree with everything you said. It can make the racing fun/exciting (or whatever word you wish to use) to watch him, or any of the other Cup regulars for that fact, to watch and yes, it does give them practice/knowledge for the Cup races when their held at the same tracks. They have every right to race in the lower series and I don't have a problem with it. However, and on the other hand, I just think its a bit unfair, maybe, when these young up-and-comers have to compete against the more experienced drivers for wins and to have their day in the spotlight, so to speak. That's my only argument about the subject. And yes, I'm well aware of all the counter arguments that people can come back at me with and I fully understand and respect those points. I will say this though with a chuckle, it does get old sometimes, depending on my mood I guess, seeing my favorite driver beating up on these youngsters just trying to win a race. Its almost like everyone else is at an unfair disadvantage. Race on Rowdy.... race on.

For real though, it wouldn't be that bad. Races that have 2 cautions and 8 cars on the lead lap are only fun when they almost never happen, every week having a 200 lap green flag run's gonna make it had to justify keeping the clock out of the Cup Series

If they throw in that damn caution clock, or whatever stupid ass name they choose to give it, its going to ruin NASCAR the way I have come to know it. NASCAR is quickly becoming a 3 ring circus and I absolutely hate the direction its going. Gone are the days where the guys/women just got in their cars and raced, as fast and hard as they could, until the end of the race without the aid of any artificial caution flags or whatever else NASCAR can dream up to make it into the circus it has become. It is sad what NASCAR is becoming, and I am sad for it.

If anybody thinks NASCAR doesn't play fast with what consitutes debris you must be a day old.
Most of the time it's legitimate debris but take last night's caution with 50 to go. Fans in attendance saw that it was just big pieces of rubber.

So, honestly, making it part of the rulebook that there's a caution after an hour of green flag racing really wouldn't change much

Michael Waltrip gunning for Supa Hot Fire's title
"So I was after the rain delay and I went up to him post gridwalk and said "hey Mike, I like those white pants and all, but don't get em wet. Then things might get awkward"

He doesn't skip a beat and says "I'd say I like your shirt, but it looks pretty tight on you and things are already awkward"

Took the selfie and the ****** joke like a champ. It started a line of me heckling every driver on the way to their cars".

If this is directed at me because of what I said about NASCAR and their artificial cautions, I really don't appreciate your comment about being "a day old." I have followed NASCAR since I was around 5 years old. I have worked at MIS in various capacities for 6 years and then was off to Roush Racing for another 4 years as a second man welder/fabricator. I think I can safely say I have some very good knowledge of NASCAR and its inner workings and how things function. NASCAR has changed greatly in the time I have known it and been involved in the sport, and that does include the amount of caution flags thrown, for no apparent reason. Yes, for the most part, caution flags are warranted. But, there are a growing number of incidences where the yellow flag is thrown for an apparent piece of "debris" just to group the field back together. That same piece of "debris" would not have even been acknowledged back in the day, no matter how strung out the field was or how uneventful the race was. Nowadays, NASCAR will create a yellow at the slightest hint of something on the track if they feel the race is not exciting enough or not really playing out the way they want it to with close racing. All this caution clock garbage is, is just a marketing/PR stunt that's turning racing into one big circus. Its not racing and its not what racing is about. A guy races his ass off and runs off to a big lead, has the field covered, and your going to throw a caution flag to bunch the field back up just because you want closer racing? Give me a 🤬 break, there are other ways to achieve that if that's really what has to be done to keep the fans interested. Personally, if a guy gets out to a big lead, or the race is otherwise uneventful, it really doesn't bother me because that is the type of races I am used to seeing unfold when things happen that way. Like I said, I have a lot of experience in and around NASCAR, and in recent years, it has really turned into a circus. I won't say that I will ever stop watching because of all these changes because it is a sport that is and always will be a part of me, but it is getting to the point where it is just not as enjoyable as it once was for me. @Ganon83 You are right, bringing in this caution clock thing wouldn't really change a thing, but that's because NASCAR has really already initiated it....they just needed a name for it. ;)

Very few races have multiple green flag pit stops. You won't ever need a caution clock as long as NASCAR keeps Goodyear around.

Is there a stat around somewhere about the number of debris cautions called since the clock-block has come into the Truck series? I'm willing to bet it's significantly lower than before the clock existed.

A lot of what I say in here is in reply to the general fan response, if I was responding to somebody here in particular would of quoted them

So apparently Dale Jr. listens to this

Yeah he was always a big fan of Rap and even appeared in Music Videos early in the 2000s. He's always a big fan of early 2000s rock like Three Doors Down. He's also a fan of the band Dale Earnhardt Jr Jr.

Wikipedia says he's a fan.

Yeah he's said in interview as well he is.

He's been hanging out with Mark lately?

I'd say he got Mark into it :sly:

Time to get the salt shakers out

:banghead: 🤬

Not going to lie, I will legitimately stop watching NASCAR on any level if they do that to the cup series. It's bad enough its in Truck series, but the moment they put it in the others I'm just done.

Yes many people always say "I'll stop watching if..." and watch it anyway after a week. But I'd take as far as ignoring NASCAR's existence if they did this. :banghead: We'll just have to wait and see.
