I will be shocked if he still is in the car at the end of the year. If I were in his shoes I would almost rather sit on the couch instead of driving that pile every week.

I'd like to add my two cents on the Chase format.

I believe that it, along with the points system, is really silly. We never needed an elimination playoff to determine the championship back them, so why the hell do we need it now?

I sound like an old school person, but I believe that NASCAR should get rid of the Chase (in all series) entirely, and go back to the points system they had from 1975-2010. I don't care if Kyle Busch clinches the title with three or four races to go, having the Championship determined over the course of the season is a lot better.

And I heard that Patrick Carpentier is gonna be racing at Sonoma and Indy. I thought he was retired.

Semi-retired, he's done a race or two every year since he announced his retirement except for 2015.

Harvick's car for 'Dega

I can't wait for the Busch Hunting car that Harvick will almost certainly run come Hunting season

I love that Dale Jr. won, but I hate it because now I come across as a hypocrite because it wasn't a series regular...

It sucks seeing Clint Bowyer doing so bad. He's such a better driver than he's showing this year. Hopefully they get this thing turned around.

Anyway, I think I've got this NASCAR Fantasy thing figured out. I won the last 2 races in my league. Going for 3! :D Hour and 20 minutes till the race!

The numbers ruin what would be a great

They need either the drop shadow Gordon had or to be a different font.

Found this on Jayski. " "I've never been with such a (expletive) unprepared (expletive) team in my life," Bowyer replied via team radio. "It's a (expletive) joke. No power steering. (Expletive) put this in the truck and go home." "

Also according to NASCAR Fantasy, Bowyer will be dropping to the rear at the start of the race.

I think H Scott took the "lets just have a crap car with a good driver in it so it won't be obvious to see we have a crap car" approach. It's pretty obvious that everyone saw through that one. It's pretty obvious to say that Clint will be far far happier when this season ends compared to ending other years of competition.

He's going to faint from shock when he gets to Haas.

That's technically impossible.

I also have to question those blaming Bowyer for their performance thus far (elsewhere on the internet, not here). He's driving for a fully funded multi-car team that has a relationship with the top team in the sport, they should be putting better equipment on the track. Hell, Finch managed to supply Kurt with solid cars while getting very little outside funding and that's the team Scott purchased!

After that radio chatter i couldn't feel more bad for Bowyer :guilty:, i bet the guy is really wishing it was 2017 already.

All the teams around them in the standings got better whereas they have just maintained from last season. BK Racing bought out old MWR stuff, while FRM is in an alliance with Roush. Stewart-Haas apparently hasn't been doing much for them since the announcement that they were switching to Ford, apparently Hendrick cut them off after the announcement as well.

What about Bowyer has made you feel bad for him? The guy deserves at least a year of suffering for the **** he tried to pull in Richmond

He had to work along Michael Waltrip, is that not enough?

All in all, it's pretty interesting to look at how karma bit the culprits of that Richmond race in the ass. Michael Waltrip Racing never won another race and has now ceased to exist. Bowyer hasn't won another race since then (or since the Phoenix incident of '12) and is now struggling in terrible equipment. Meanwhile Truex, who suffered the loss of a Chase spot and a sponsor in comparison to Bowyer getting slapped on the wrist, moved to a new team and made the top 4 in points last year, also returning to victory lane - and Newman, whom MWR tried to eliminate, and who also lost his ride (albeit for unrelated reasons) ended up having a career-high championship finish the very next season.

You wanna talk karma, I think it's hitting Joey Logano pretty hard this year. Qualifying is about as high as he's been up in the field.

Also, Matt DiBenideto's fan group: DiBagofDonuts.👍
