And the muppets proved that they are indeed muppets.Figured it would happen. From Jayski:
Daytona penalties/warnings announced: NASCAR has announced penalties and warnings following the Coke Zero 400 Sprint Cup Series race at Daytona International Speedway on July 2nd.
It was a pretty light week for penalties as in Cup, only #1-Jamie McMurray's Chevy failed LIS(laser tech inspection) pre-race inspection twice and the team was given a warning
On the XFINITY Series side, Darrell Wallace was fined $15,000 for a behavioral level issue "Disparaging the sport and/or NASCAR's leadership" (section Section 12.8.1.b of the rules book). Wallace tweeted: "Got the muppets up there officiating tonight! Never know how to react under pressure... Whatta joke"
after the XFINITY Series race at Daytona on Friday night
I'd be nice to actually be able to expand the media when you guys post these rather than seen something cut in half.
I wonder what would happen if Busch takes out Logano this weekend as retaliation...
I like those cars.![]()
I was a little skeptical of the new configuration at Kentucky, but the truck race is proving that it's a fantastic change!
Some fantastic racing from our pals in Canada!👍
Parts of the track of narrowed (apron has moved up).The configuration changed? Apart from the obvious progressive banking I don't see a real change unless that's what you're referring to. I don't really like progressive banking, look at homestead, it's pretty much a 1 groove track at the top now.
As bad as their commentators are, at least the Fox people aired almost everything live. I was amazed by NBC's coverage last year, but in parts it seems to be going in a complete 180.Who gave NBC the stupid juice? Like seriously this is ridiculous, it's like last year's team is on vacation.
And meanwhile their Indycar and F1 coverage is literally the best thing since sliced bread still. Weird things going on at corporate obviously. At least the Fox people aired almost everything live. I was amazed by NBC's coverage last year, but in parts it seems to be going in a complete 180.
I've got a bad feeling about their Olympic coverage (which is horrible to begin with) if they're doing this to nascar.
I'm starting to think that myself.Fixed.
