Really ???? In 2008 the infamous Juan Pablo led NASCAR with 9 DNFs. The following year, no talent Joe had 27. He followed that impressive number by having 30,35 and 29 DNFs the next 3 years. So yes, he invented "start n park" and continued to disgrace himself in the years after.
No he didn't. Joe Ruttman was the first to use the tactic when he showed up at Rockingham with no pit crew and NASCAR parked the car.

Start and park was invented in the lower divisions, if anything. Some races were even this full of field fillers during years of particularly bad field depth:

Now I suggest you quit making a clown of yourself here when you obviously pull "facts" out of your ass.

I'm expecting Brian France to hire Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler as race commentators in the upcoming weeks at the rate he's ruining NASCAR. :dunce: That way every time a major crash happens, we get to hear this:

Did he do it over 100 times? No. I do find it funny that people come to this guys defense like he was a decent driver. Hell you probably are big fans of Jeff Green as well. A former champ that continues to disgrace himself every week

I'm wondering how fast Bill Sr. and Bill Jr. are spinning in their graves right now.
They must be producing more energy than a wind turbine by now.

Legit question, did Joe Nemechek **** your date on prom night or something, why do you hold such an anger towards him?

I find it funny people still don't understand what an opinion is, and regardless, most of us weren't defending him, just more so proving you wrong because it's fun to make fun of people like you who think their opinions are the only logical ones look dumb lol.

I gave you the facts that this guy did it over 100 times in a 4 year period. Nobody proved me wrong. I also showed you that he had 27 DNFs and in the previous year the most was 9. Would you rather me use the term "frequent user" instead of inventor? As for my opinion, thats what it is. My opinion, it doesnt mean its right. And my opinion is the man is garbage

I definitely think that the #78 wont sneak up on anyone this year. This is a chase team. Its good to see a team progress in the last 5 years. The first 5 years they floundered with no talents like Wallace and Nemechek. Nemechek is the biggest disgrace in NASCAR. He didnt want to run a part time schedule so he quit. Then the pathetic chump invented "start n park". Granted Regan Smith didnt finish with a great season but he did win a Southern 500 and laid the ground work for Kurt Busch to come in and make that team relevant. And now with Truex and Toyota should be a force in the upcoming years
Opinion vs. your bold statement.

You may have an opinion that the driver is terrible.
Your bold statement has been proven wrong.

Hey guys! I brought the hotdogs and hamburgers! Giant bonfire we're having. What's the fuel? Snakeskin? Awesome. Let me squeeze in here...nice and cozy on a snowy night.

Literally this thread

So apparently nobody invented "start n park". It was just a way for a bum to make money without actually ever finishing what he started. Maybe someone can call Joe and have him get his trusty snow blower. But I'm sure after about 6 feet it would break down. Enjoy your party

I'm sure they didn't have any other choice. They aren't exactly top dollar teams willing to put their funds at risk.

Plus, they don't even earn much from starting and parking.

That last part is the best part. They literally have to do that for every thing that isn't a restrictor plate track to come out in the green. And luckily for Roush, the bottom of heap is still far enough below him to make something of his team still.

Yea, this thread's pretty salty (including me), but can you blame us? Look what's happened in the past week or so;
1: Lots and LOTS of terrible schemes
2: Caution Clock for the NCWTS
3: Playoffs get added to the Xfinity and Truck Series
4: RTB's crap posts

I'd say it's a miracle we're all (or at least most of us) still mentally stable after all this...

Just wait til the season starts
It can't be that bad for this forum this season, I mean, Joe Nemechek doesn't really run anymore, and Jeff Gordon retired. Who do you have left to unnecessarily bash on this year? (aside from Jr Nation)
