This has been bugging me for a while like last season but the 2 holes in the 8 in the 18 are white and it bugs the hell out of me on NBC's display. I understand why they did it because all green would be hard to see but dang does it get on my nerves lol. OCD in full effect.

They already decided Bowmen would be in for Jr in this race. Gordon was announced for Indy if Jr couldn't come back.

The reason Gordon wasn't considered for this race is because he's kind of out of the country at the moment (France).

Not really. In that conference, they said that Bowman was the first person they called after Jr told them about the symptoms, it just so happened that Gordon was also in France at the same time. At the time, it was a just in case in the event that they would have to swap out Jr mid race, but it changed to a full on substitution.
 
I really hope Dale's back in the 88 for Pocono since I might be going. Then again, since I've been mentioning it since Gordon announced his retirement, didn't go to last year's race and still don't know if I'm going to this year's event, I'm probably not going. :rolleyes:

Maybe he can figure that out when they go back to commercials again.
 
I want to say something about the race but I'm an Almirola fan and this is New Hampshire so either way I look at it this race is pretty snoozy.

Edit: Wayhey, Nascar threw the caution to make it a mileage race to the end.

Hey look- a water bottle caution.

Bad luck Truex with no shifter. Poor guy seems to have a knack for something happening to him when he has a chance to win races (600 being the exception).
