IIRC the rules don't allow in season development, so next year these kits could look different possibly yes.are Honda and Chevy allowed to develop the Aero kit every year?
They'd hold together better if the drivers weren't using them as bumpers.
Bingo. Aero parts work the best when everyone drives less like bumper cars and more like professionals.
They need to drive like proper open wheel drivers (F1 bar Maldonado) and not treat these things like go karts/bumper cars. Stricter penalties for accidents should be enacted too.Watching the video linked by @IforceV8 I have to say... it looks like some of the world's best drivers driving like amateurs. Of course aero breaks if you hit another car with it. The commentary seems to be blaming the wings. D'oh![]()
Power would have won it if it wasn't for playing bumper cars. He had the pace to overtake Montoya, but he acted like that was his only chance to do so.

That's going to be a packed team.
NBC Sports Network is to show highlights of the Indy Lights Series race around St. Petersburg at the top of the hour. It will be the first time we'll see possible young talent that might step up to IndyCar in the future.

It's possible that May will get here and there will be more than 33 cars on the entry list, unlike last year where 33 seemed impossible.
would be great to see a full field at Indy, but why we cant have more part timers across the season is beyond me, I'm a huge fan of the "privateer" entries, but I think Indycar needs to get these guys on track at more events, even if it is just another oval or two,
Because sponsors are only interested in the 500 probably.
Are you saying that they should expand the field to allow more cars on ovals? Indy pulled that stunt at Las Vegas, and we saw what happened...would be great to see a full field at Indy, but why we cant have more part timers across the season is beyond me, I'm a huge fan of the "privateer" entries, but I think Indycar needs to get these guys on track at more events, even if it is just another oval or two,

Last to top 10 wouldn't have been an issue if it was a normal field of ~24 and the cars weren't running inches apart from 1 to 30. A few inexperienced drivers in there and you have exactly what resulted in that race. That's what happens when people start out of qualifying order, from last to the top 10 before the crash? It was inevitable,
Aside from that, I'm saying that indycar should provide more assistance to get these 1 off/ start and parks on track at another event or two, and have them complete the event,
