Hell Yeah! So good! I was nervous at the end but damn I'm happy now!
Driving Pace wasn't really the reason for that though (proven by the fact if they were fast they would've stayed in 6th), it was mainly luck with a relatively good pit strategy. Though I'll admit they did pick up near the end.My pick for their "pair of the race" vote they have going on is Todd Kelly and Matt Campbell. 18th to 7th is the highest number of spots gained out of anyone.
Anyway, on to Bathurst.
I agree. A great Supercars debut by Matt Campbell 👍My pick for their "pair of the race" vote they have going on is Todd Kelly and Matt Campbell. 18th to 7th is the highest number of spots gained out of anyone.

It's a big 'if' but, I think Golding would've been the standout rookie had he not ended up in the fence. Stanaway did a good job too but for the competitive miles he's covered, not only in a Supercar but overall, Matt gets my vote 👍A superstar in the making. 👍
Richie Stanaway was really impressive too.
That was the first time Stanaway ever Drove a V8 Supercar in a race(apart from the qualifying race). It's a big 'if' but, I think Golding would've been the standout rookie had he not ended up in the fence. Yes, and the same applies for Matt. Stanaway also has a lot more racing miles under his belt. That was the first time Stanaway ever Drove a V8 Supercar in a race(apart from the qualifying race).
Wasn't the Townsville livery used to commemorate an anniversary? Not to mention HRT fix on doing retro liverys at complete random instead of a set date causes some issues with having a retro round.
I don't think that it has to be from their own history. Just any retro design.RBRA may not have a long history but could have been creative with the livery. Maybe an art car style wrap.
It wouldn't be hard to re-create Glenn Seton's Ford Credit Racing design (circa 1995) using The Bottle-O colours, or Gibson Racing's green-eyed monster (circa 2000) for Monster. There are creative ways to do it.
Ok, maybe not complete randomWasn't the Townsville livery used to commemorate an anniversary?
That was the fiftieth anniversary of Bathurst. The Vodafone design was to honour Peter Brock (with the chevron inverted to get around anti-tobacco laws), while the PRA designs were recreations of Alan Moffat's race-winning design from the 1970s.Ibdont know their reasons, but anything is possible.
