Guess what's back this week....Here's a big clue.

Tomorrow
Basel v Man City
Juventus v Tottenham

Wednesday
Porto v Liverpool
Real Madrid v Paris Saint Germain

Some big games there, looking forward to it.

Great night's Football, Juve and Spurs was 2-2, Juve went 2-0 up after nine minutes but then Tottenham turned it around and took the fight to them, it was a terrific performance by them overall and it was a great match to watch.

City continued their dominance with a 0-4 thrashing of Basel away from home.

Fantastic win by Real Madrid against PSG.

3-1 doesn't give the full picture, but still a great result.

Also, some english team smashed Porto.

Great game at the Bernabeu and the Liverpool thrashing of Porto was a bit unexpected.

Spurs looks very impressive against Juve - although I did miss the first 10 minutes of the game, so that might have something to do with it!

Harry Kane is the real deal... although Spurs fans will be hoping that he doesn't become the Real deal...

That is an absolutely awful dive. He's getting a reputation. That's never good.

Stuff like this needs to be reviewed after the game if the ref doesn't catch it. A dive should be a 3 game ban at least.

Great win from my beloved Liverpool this week... we could beat anyone... although we could also lose to anyone just as easily, depending on which defense/goalie turns up :D

Bobby, Mo and Saido will give us a chance against anyone.

Last 16 continues this week.

Tomorrow
Bayern Munich v Besiktas
Chelsea v Barcelona

Wednesday
Shakhtar Donetsk v Roma
Sevilla v Man United

Hopefully it'll be as good as last week!

It finished Chelsea 1-1 Barcelona and Bayern 5-0 Besiktas.

Chelsea did well and struck first Willian's fine finish but then Messi broke his duck against Chelsea not long after, Besiktas had Vida sent off after juts 16 minutes then it was a forgone conclusion after that, Muller and Lewandowski getting two each.

Even I could see in my well drunk state from the pub here in Seville we were pretty dismal. Nothing really offered until about the end and as usual were left thanking god we have the best goalkeeper in the world. Cue a 1-0 in two weeks time where we're clinging on for dear life about 80% of the time.

Wasn't surprised by our performance tonight, had a feeling he was going to have the players sit back and wait for a fortnights time.

We've laboured for the last few weeks, had a really good January where we won every game but in February we've been crap.

Second legs start this week

Tuesday
Liverpool v Porto (5-0)
PSG v Real Madrid (1-3)

Wednesday
Tottenham v Juventus (2-2)
Man City v Basel (4-0)

PSG v Real and Spurs v Juve is where its at for me, other two games are done and dusted.

There will be a minutes silence before all Champions League and Europa League matches this week as a mark of respect for Davide Astori.

Liverpool had a rotated side out as they drew 0-0 with Porto, they go through 5-0 on aggregate and into their first quarter final for nine years.

Real beat PSG 1-2 to go through 2-5 on aggregate, PSG had Verrati sent off, Casemiro and Ronaldo for Real with Cavani for PSG, Ronaldo has now scored in every CL game he has played this season.

Not only that, but Real had 3 shots in the posts that could as easily gone in.

All in all a good game and a very good result. :P

Good game at Wembley tonight between Tottenham and Juventus, its 2-2 after first leg Spurs do have advantage of away goals, so it'll be interesting to see how Spurs will play, could be Buffon's last Champions League game.

Porto's Legend goalkeeper Iker Casillas got a standing ovation from Liverpool fans last night, could have been his last Champions League game too.

Spurs were a bit unlucky, Juventus turned it on when they needed too, it was all Tottenham in the first have with Juventus providing little offence, but fair play to Allegri for making the changes needed to turn it around.

Basel join Liverpool and Wigan in being the only teams to beat Man City this season, they won 1-2 but City go through 5-2 on aggregate.

Last 16 concludes this week.

Tuesday
Man United v Sevilla (0-0)
Roma v Shakhtar Donetsk (1-2)

Wednesday
Besiktas v Bayern Munich (0-5)
Barcelona v Chelsea (2-2)

Quarter final draw is at 11am on Friday.

That was a first half of absolute non-football in Manchester. Bleh.

edit

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

That is what you get with that awful Mourinho football.

We absolutely deserved to lose that. Sevilla were'nt good but they deserved the win, that says it all really. Very dissapointed with Jose and United for treating a Champions League last 16 tie like that. It's such a shame at the moment, absolutely fantastic one day and then this shower the next.
