Retrieval crew got the Ferrari out of the gravel trap just as the field was making its way back onto pit straight. #88 remains on the lead lap. #22 the leader...for now. Surely there will be a penalty coming, if not for the contact then certainly for breach of restart procedure.

It's difficult when you support SVG in V8SC's, but you have Lowndes and Whincup in a Ferrari.

I feel only slightly bad for these corner marshalls. They have to stand there waving blue flags for ever until the race ends. The reason I don't is because they're at the freaking Bathurst 12 hour. :p

The Ginetta driver was not paying attention to his surroundings however, he came in way too hot for a corner with waved yellow flags, car in the middle of the road or not.
