Looked like Logano either blew a tire or had a brake rotor explode. I think it was a rotor because it looked like something exited stage right before his car went to the left and clipped Danica.

Gordon thought it was a brake rotor.Looked like Logano either blew a tire or had a brake rotor explode. I think it was a rotor because it looked like something exited stage right before his car went to the left and clipped Danica.
I think so too. There was a noticeable chunk missing out of the hood flap on that side.Looked like Logano either blew a tire or had a brake rotor explode. I think it was a rotor because it looked like something exited stage right before his car went to the left and clipped Danica.
Hardest hit I've seen since Sadler destroyed his car at Pocono, knocking the engine completely out of the vehicle.Hell, I thought Danica hit hard, but Almirola just took one of the biggest hits I've seen in a good while. Sure hope he's alright.

They're saying the rollcage on the 43 is deformed...damn.
I think this is the most human I've ever heard him sound. You can easily hear the shock and concern in his voice for both Almirola and the damage to Danica's car. I still can't stand Logano, but it was easy to see that his concern was more for his competitors than his own race in that interview. I respect that dearly.
Hold up. Are you really gonna pin a part failure on one person? And the 2 and 21 aren't having issues? It's amazing to think that Almirola's entire life could have just changed because of Roger Penske's choice of brake rotor.
I'm not trying to blame Roger Penske specifically in the way you are implying. I'm saying that it wasn't even the 43 car's brake rotor that caused Aric's potential injury.Hold up. Are you really gonna pin a part failure on one person? And the 2 and 21 aren't having issues?
Not that I heard, but she did say that the supported NASCAR for their efforts to try to keep drivers safe and to mitigate injuries in bad wrecks like the one she was in.I dislike Logano, but seeing him that corcened, even a bit pale, it's something I can definitely respect.
Danica is really pissed, not at Logano, at the fact of her luck, running pretty good and seeing her hopes up in smoke. Did she say anything about Aric? (I couldn't listen exactly what she said due to the fact that brazilian Fox Sports commentators kept translating her talk over her voice, instead of after).
That's how it usually goes. I know I haven't seen every wreck, but I want to say that every driver that's been injured in the last decade were in a wreck caused by someone else or got turned by someone (Kyle's Daytona crash is the one I can't recall at all).I'm not trying to blame Roger Penske specifically in the way you are implying. I'm saying that it wasn't even the 43 car's brake rotor that caused Aric's potential injury.
At the end of her interview she did briefly.Danica is really pissed, not at Logano, at the fact of her luck, running pretty good and seeing her hopes up in smoke. Did she say anything about Aric? Aaaaand Blaney by a nose off pit road. Damn, this 21 crew is living up to that Wood Brothers reputation.I can't see Blaney holding off Truex unless there's a late caution.
Edit: Aaaand there it is.
oh, hey Harvick. You still racing?
