Manufacturers should be allowed to mod the roofline just saying.
DAG NABBIT THEY TRYING TO PULL ME BACK TO THIS GIMMICK FILLED MESS BUT IT'S WORKING WITH THAT CAMARO.![]()
As much as I hate to admit it, I completely understand what Harvick is saying. There isn't a single driver on the level popularity that the big name Basketball or Football players have. The closest would be Dale Jr, and when people who don't regularly watch, they'll turn on and see him mid pack most likely. It's not good for marketability when you're most well known and popular driver is quite average in the grand scheme of things.
Excellent car, poor choice of driver for it. Probably because she has no sponsorship though. It'll be wadded up by lap 100.Danica Patrick's throwback car will be a throwback to when Robert Yates fielded a Cup team. Her car's livery is inspired by the 88 Dale Jarrett raced (owned by Yates) in the late 90s. Link here.

Great car. It's so sad to look at Yates that skinny though. I hate to see what cancer does to people. I was being generous and hoping she'd take it easy for the first stageLap 100 is being too generous. Lap 45 at most.
I'll never cease to be amazed at the lack of logic involved in building these useless shopping centers right over still existing race tracks rather than actual undeveloped land. Wasn't Irwindale still part of the K&N series this year? And now I get to be Mr. Buzzkill.
Irwindale Speedway WILL close for good after next January.

So, anyone catch this crap sunday?
What a moron. I remember him making similar complaints with Hendrick and Chevy. Perhaps he should shut the hell up and actually try to find a way to catch up.
YIL that the NASCAR Pinty's, and NASCAR PEAK México Series both race on road courses under a mile in length. Mirabel/Circuit ICAR in Canada is .68mi, and the Autódromo de León in México is .75mi.

Not racing NASCAR.It looks alright, but it would be nice to see a Lyn St. James Mustang homage, since Lyn was one of her early mentors and...well...we still don't know what Danica's doing next year...
Not racing NASCAR.
Missing the point that a driver of roughly average skill doesn't deserve to be applauded like they've won a bunch of championships. That's just being ignorant. Many pay drivers have shared a grid with greats. So that would make the haters finally have something in common with her.
I would ask anyone who posts negatively about her, would you trade with her if you could?
Would you like the opportunity to race for 20+ years in England and America, racing future F1 drivers as a teenager, racing in the premium North American open wheel series and the most popular racing series in America....NASCAR?
Would you like the opportunity to race against drivers such as Button, Rahal, Castroneves, Francitti, Andretti, Weldon, Power, Briscoe, Kanaan, Dixon, Sato, Montoya, Earnhardt jr, Gordon, Johnson, Stewart, Martin, Keslowski, etc...?
Would you like the opportunity to race at the greatest ovals and road courses around the world? Would you like the chance to lead laps at both the Indy 500 and Daytona 500?
Would the haters give up this opportunity if they would only win one race in their career?
I doubt it.

I still feel bad for Jerome Policand who had to share a car with her at Road Atlanta (not Petit Le Mans) for the Grand Prix of Atlanta in 2003...didn't even make the podium in a Maranello....![]()
Danica's hype is what's befallen her, but it's also what's kept her at the upper echelons for so long. I do say negative things about her, but all told she's as good in NASCAR as Paul Menard or Ricky Stenhouse. On the surface that may look like a slighting, but they aren't Cup Series Kenny Wallace, Gray Gaulding, or Cup series Scott Speed in that they live in the bottom 10 running. She 'aint bad...she 'aint great, but she's good enough to keep the job.So that would make the haters finally have something in common with her.

Source?I'm just telling you guys that she's done with NASCAR after this year. No comments on ability or whatever, just stating a fact.
Multiple people I know in the garage area/series.Source?
Yeah, idk where all that started from.

To answer your question: If you can guarantee the exact same path considering I'm a guy, Hell yes I would. I don't think it would be near the same though, her being a woman has given light to opportunities that if I started how she did, I'd likely never see.
As many times as either the Jackman, the post/bolt acting as the jacking point, and the jack itself has failed in recent years, why not? It also takes the guy the furthest out on pit road out of that situation. The tire changers would still be an issue depending on how the pitstops would be structured, but they could also be a more reliable option.
