90% chance of rain at the track today.

Partly sunny Saturday.

Scattered showers Sunday.

Lowndes with a big crash in practice. The photo posted in the live updates shows the car completely in the air.

Good to see the two MW Altimas up front. We'll see what that power is like in Race starting now.

Nissans 1-2.

Edit.: 1 & 3 now.

Just caught the replay on the Supercars site. Big hit.

The car doesn't look too bad though, considering.

Good race at the end.

Edit: Lowndes sitting in(commentating) for final practice.

What are the V8 Utes still racing? :indiff:

Could have invited a different support category. TCM or a top 10 shootout to full that slot.

A bit of info about the tyre failures.

Holy smokes! Some teams have been using -8° of camber. At Honda, they found the combined degree of camber and caster, be at -12. Never seen before of these cars.

I immediately noticed the massive amount of camber when watching the practice highlights.

DJRTP 1-2 I. qualifying. RBHRT with no answer for the #17 & #12.

Meanwhile Nissan Motorsport are napping. Zzzzzzzzz.
To their defense, it's crowded in the top 10. I want them top 5 every race, it who goes? Top 5 would seem to be the 12/17/55/88/97. From there, any o the other drivers. Now with PRA stepping up and Erebus, it's even tougher to get cars in the 10.

Hopefully the #23 has a good strategy. And if they pit Rick Kelly on lap one, I've lost faith in that side of the garage.

Le Brocq pulling away again.

Edit: That Altima is strong.

No bueno. Tyres lasting 10laps.

Mostert had a puncture, Courtney, Waters, Moffat, Percat had issues. Crazy.

Rick Kelly with a puncture.

Winner of this race will be the only car that doesn't have a tire issue.

Well, there's Fabs.:indiff:

Pye done.

Waters again.

Race leader loses a tyre now. This is really killing any chance of a good race.

What a farce. Stop the weekend, this is well into unsafe territory.

At this point Dunlop should start cutting checks to the teams for all the damage.

Mostert just had another blowout, and Blanchard might have one.

Chaz again. Just stop the race. Do we had to see all tyres go flat into turn 1?

Not even half way through this race. Just end it already, it's become farcical.
