I already got that. Him and Stanaway for a 4 car assault. If Lowndes is out of contract for 2018, someone should give Roger Penske a call about a third car.
That'd make CL the only Aussie in a default Team KiwiI already got that. Him and Stanaway for a 4 car assault.
And I don't think Craig is going to settle for 4th.
He was. In the wet, on slicks at Sandown. Plus, he never drove a V8. I think he was as good as Ekstrom.I don't really get the masssive hype around Stanaway. Yes he's obviously good, but he wasn't a class above the other co-drivers last year.

I think, mentioned by Todd Kelly last year, the Altima was still not on par with fuel economy.Thought the racing was pretty damn good today. Definitely enjoyed that race.
But I do want to say that I wish they'd do away with the fuel drop rules. It's an unnecessary and convoluted mess that is a poor choice as a parity measure (which was the initial excuse for it's inception) and unreliable as a "mix up the order" variable. If you want to force pitstops, do it with smaller fuel tanks (from memory we actually had this prior to COTF, 75L sprint tank, 120L enduro tank) and let them race and strategize as the teams see fit.

For sure. I gather they'll wait for Roland Dane to determine the rules, when the NG Commodore debuts next year. Not surprised by that. But my point is that if you want to create parity by trying to take fuel economy out of the equation, then I don't believe that the mandatory fuel drop is the right way to do it.
Yeah, just read that.

Doesn't make sense to blame anyone in this instance.
I'm sure it could, but Fabs mentioned what's done is done and can't get the points back. Whether that's him being a driver and not caring or leaving it to the team, to make that decision, we'll see.Did I catch somewhere that Fabian Coulthard has been given a 35 point penalty for causing the massive crash?
:EDIT: Found
Can that be appealed?
And yet if that had of been SVG, Whincup or Lowndes, all the 888/Roland Dane haters would've been screaming that it was done on purpose & for a ban and large fineWhat I saw during his onboard video was that he turned into 3 and the car skated a bit, so he counter steered to the left to catch the car and that's when Rick tried to go around him so the two made contact. Looked like a total racing in the rain deal to me.
Well I guess that's the risk you take when racing at these circuits. No different to any street circuit and definitely no different to Bathurst. Wanting to take those off of the calendar too? I wouldn't say it's the worst accident ever, severity wise. The Davison-Kelly hit was massive, and the Douglas-Courtney hit was pretty hefty, but most of the other hits weren't too extraordinary. It's just the amount of cars in the accident was like something we've never been used too.
Simona held it together. She's not just making up the numbers.
Mr Meredith told CarsGuide that although Kia Australia hasn't discussed specific budgets with prospective team partners he did "have a fair idea of what it will cost."
In response to the suggestion that Walkinshaw Racing, dropped by Holden as a factory Supercars team in 2016, may be open to a new brand association, Mr Meredith said, "Who's to say we haven't already had that conversation."
"Kia's never gone racing in Australia before, and we have to substantiate what a program would deliver, but we'd probably go with one team," he said.
