Alli and Lloris out for Tottenham for the game v Liverpool on Saturday.

The FA is to spend £2 million on minor upgrades to Wembley, mostly on new floodlights which will now be LED, Upgrades are needed to meet UEFA standard for when it hosts the Euro 2020 semi final and final.

The five 3pm Saturday games will have VAR.

Cardiff were 0-1 up v Chelsea and Bournemouth were 4-0 up v Leicester.

So its just been me on here all weekend.

And there is no thread for the Champions League...which starts tomorrow.
 
I'm home all this week burning vacation days so I actually get to watch a full Monday game, even if it is Southampton vs. Brighton.
 
Great. We still don't know how to hold a lead.
 
Not having Dutch teams in the Europa League must be an absolute crime for our broadcaster. We started today with Olympique Marseille V Eintracht Frankfurt and now there is Dynamo Zagreb V Fenerbahce.

I wonder how many people will actually watch that here.
 
I'm actually surprised Salzburg beat Leipzig.

Especially when Southampton take and throw away a lead.

Fair play to Wolves I suppose, like Jezza said it was Sir Alex Ferguson's first appearance at Old Trafford since his Brain Hemmorage in May, it was fantastic to see him and he got a superb reception from the crowd.

Liverpool and Man City are just flexing now. I'm not sure if Chelsea can keep up, but this could be a titanic title battle.

I thought the performance was decent but found the scoreline frustrating. Wolves deserved a goal and the point, they played very well, but I also felt like we could have won that.

The player that dissapointed me most was Lukaku, he was wasteful and got caught offside in situations he shouldn't have. Other than him though I thought most of the other players did well. A few of my mates agree with you though so perhaps I'm on my own on that one. We're a bit of a way off the pace in the table though, which is not pleasing to see.

Great to see Sir Alex back and the reception he got though.

He was the one who bloody sold him!

I'm really getting fed up of Mourinho's cheque book style. He could have nurtured Depay into a good player or at the least insisted on a loan deal. Instead I bet we pay twice the amount we sold him for.

I remember thinking it was stupid selling him when I heard we put a buy back clause in, if you know you might want him back then loan him, not sell.

First goal on Sunday was a superb strike by Lacazette!

Arsenal 1-0 Everton, decent game.
 
Is it me, or have Celtic finally got too complacent. I know it's only 6 games into the season, but they're 6th in the league, 4 spots behind Rangers and 6 points and 7 goals behind 1st place? Plus they bottled the Champions League qualification and ended up in the Europa League. Could this be the season someone else gets a chance to win something in Scotland?

Hearts are the team to beat at the moment though. 5 wins and a draw, giving them a 5 point lead as it stands.
