Need I say more really? Outplayed by Watford, Derby and now West Ham. No disrespect to the teams but seriously.....

When was the last time ever that Manchester United had a negative goal difference? Surely only in the first 2/3 games of a season at most?

Same, I think Jose has to go. I'm not a Jose hater, but he just can't get this team to play in a way that gets results. We're not exciting to watch and we're losing a lot of games, so it's a lose lose situatoin for him.

If he was playing a slow build up play every week and getting 3 points every week he would at least be justified. I just hope we do something before it ruins next season as well..

Slight bit of optimism for a come back against the mighty world beaters West Ham until Smalling forgot who he is and where he was to let Marko straight through.
 
Arnautovic is West Ham's best attacking player and we just let him score just like that...

Much as I 'hate' Man U, and would love to see the pain continue, I think Jose has to go.
 
Man U looked ugly today. I'm a relative football newbie and don't know a lot about the intricacies of the game but even I know they looked terrible.

I think was quite possibly the worst we've played since Fergie left.

Starting McTominay at CB. Insane.
Starting McTominay ahead of Baily. Insane.
Taking Lindelof off and leaving McTominay on. Insane.
Playing a back 3 wih Fellaini and Matic ahead of them. Insane.
Not chanigng the formation at half time. Insane.
Taking off Martial and Pogba for Fred and Mata when we're losing the way we were. Insane.

The worse the situation gets, the worse Jose has us playing. I hope the board make a decision on him sooner rather than later, but I think they will be patient.

Don't really want to talk about United, so I'll talk about some other stuff that caught my eye.

Arsenal on a run of seven straight wins in all comps, some of those wins are against the likes of Vorskla in the EL and Newcastle but that doesn't give them the divine right to win them, Emery is quietly going about his business.

Peter Kenyon is reportedly heading a consortium to potentially take over Newcastle.

Huddersfield have got real problems up front, Their top scorer in the league at the John Smith's Stadium is actually Spurs's Harry Kane with four goals.

Both Barcelona and Real Madrid only drew their home games yesterday v Leganes and Bilbao respectively.

Dean Austin has been dismissed by Northampton. Excitingly, he had some parting shots which make for interesting reading:

Did the keeper even touch the ball? You cannot score directly from a throw in.

The keeper is one thing but it's silly of the defender to throw it to a player who wasn't paying attention.

It just clipped his foot, (0:19). The goalie should have just let it roll in without attempting to stop it because that way the goal wouldn't have stood.

I kind of thought that but it didn't look conclusive. Even Enckelman's barely touched his foot. It's either brave calls from the refs or a sort of ignorance to disallowing the goal.

You're right but it's instinct to react like that even if you do just "let" the ball roll in.

I would lay the blame for that goal firmly onthe player who took the throw in, he should not have thrown it behind the keeper in the first place and also not at the keeper while he was messing with his boots/socks, he should have waited/got the keepers attention first/pciked another player to throw to.

Had he thrown it in front of the keeper that goal wouldn't have happened and had he waited/got the keeprs attention first, that wouldn't have happened. It's all too easy to say the keeper shouldn't have touched the ball, but he was caught out unexpectedly and reacted.
