I agree, we have maybe 3 or 4 players that would get picked by another top 4 or 5 team, beyond that we've spent a lot of money on players who aren't good enough/used correctly. Although far from alone in blame, Jose was a big part of the problem IMO. Look at our defence, Jose bought Bailly and Lindelof and they weren't cheap, but won't give either a decent run in the team and if either makes a mistake they're pulled. You can't manage a team like that, certainly not without great strength in depth which sadly we are severely lacking at the moment. Jose managed badly and bought badly, what was it he spent? £300m or close and most of that was on Pogba and Lukaku.
