We’re watching practice from Turn 11. It’s a really good spot now that there’s no corperate boxes in the way. You can really see how unsettled the cars get under braking.

Just noticed the yellow wheels on the #18. Need more of that.

Edit: Well, Abbie won't be last. :)

Mustangs look good. Finally appear to behave like the Holdens, S60s and Altimas. I know it's a Mustang body over the Falcon, but the cars look way more speedy than the Falcon.

The Mustangs seem comfortable over the bumps. I can't go as far as saying the cars look good. I thought I might like them more in motion but I don't yet.

Also very strange not seeing 'LOW' on the timing tree.

Ryan Story certainly didn't go outside over his summer break. That man is translucent.
Maybe someone should fool him into walking past a mirror to check for a reflection?

We have a guy at work that does the night shift.
He’s so white we give him all the Dracula jokes too.
As a bonus & I’m being 100% honest here, his surname is Lillee.
It doesn’t get better than that

First paragraph 👍

I was hoping they’d look better in the box > disappointed :odd:

Second paragraph :indiff:

I'm meaning in reference to the car behavior. The Mustangs look good.

Good thing Courtney managed to scrape inside the ten at the last moment. Was looking like a typical mediocre Walkinshaw qualifying performance until then.

Terrible luck for De Pasquale. Just seemed like he got caught out be the shadows?

Depasquale owned up with driver error. when asked if the shadows played into it. Grabbed too much inner curb. What's that thing about slowing down a fast driver? Good problem to have than the opposite. Wouldn't be surprised to see him move up the field quickly.

Oof, huge damage for Macauley Jones' Commodore. Massive impact with the tyre wall at turn 9. :scared:

Glad to see Macauley walk away from that. His father seemed pretty distraught, couldn’t imagine how he’d feel seeing his son in a massive accident like that.

Yeah I was happy with that result, nor did I really expect it in the last 2 minutes of the session. Can he get a podium? Or is that just wishful thinking?

Top five maybe? Their cars always seem to be better in the race than in qualifying. Just not sure if JC has the outright pace of DJRTP, T8 or Erebus.
