It was always going to look like one of the previous Boost/WAU liveries. There's only so much you can do with orange as their corporate colour, and they've pretty much used up all the options to go with it (black, white & silver).
I was just watching a pit walk on FB and it seems as though they were just for the reveal, but I don't think that surprises any of us.Yeah, it's very same-ish from the last couple of years with WAU but still looks very good. Liking it a lot. Really hope that the black rims weren't just for the reveal though.
It's the beginning of the year. Not like changing wheel colors mid-season. May seem small to the owners, but to some of fans, details like that, help us to get onboard with these liveries. Sucks to tease stuff like that every year and not follow through.I was just watching a pit walk on FB and it seems as though they were just for the reveal, but I don't think that surprises any of us.

So 2021 then.... maybe?? Still some hope then.
I hope Abbie was just replaying herself into the car/track & being very sensible about the limit.Looking at the timing for the first S2 practice session earlier. Abbie Eaton didn't do too bad. Think 4 odd seconds off the fastest time isn't too shabby at all for the her first time at the track.
It doesn't but god I hate it when teams do that.
I saw like 20 or so minutes of practice, and when they showing her, she was being quite conservative through the Senna Chicane. Obviously just to get used to the car and track and what not.I hope Abbie was just replaying herself into the car/track & being very sensible about the limit.
If she was anywhere near her limit, she’s going to look at those 4 seconds as being an eternity & she’s in trouble.
Now that it started, doesn't feel like that long ago....to meWe did it, people. We survived the summer break. Here we go!
Meanwhile, fellow Holden team Walkinshaw Andretti United is set to make a major announcement in the Adelaide paddock this morning.
Manufacturer maybe??? Really no idea though, but I'm looking forward to it 👍.Holden stepping up support of teams outside of T8.
It appears that WAU aren't going to be one them. Any ideas? Not going to be the Camaro, figure that much.![]()
Yeah, so am I.I'm glad they shelved the Camaro plans until there is a chassis that properly works for a coupe design.
How did you get hold of one of the CAD drawings?![]()
I wonder if this was WAU's big announcement: https://www.hsv.com.au/see/camaro/ They shared it on FB an hour ago. I'll be pretty disappointed if it is.
Edit: I think it is, I just got an email from them about it as well.
What tickets do you have?Yeah, safe to say I won’t be heading into the track until a bit later. Not even midday and it’s already 37°.Lucky I’m only a quick bus ride away, with the stop just outside the main entrance from the CBD.
We’re up at Turn 8.What tickets do you have?
