It is, it’s a handling car. Good cornering, slow on the straights and a fuel pig if you don’t short shift it.
I obviously drive it really badly as I didn't feel I lost much on the straight and couldn't get the thing to go round a corner at all. Yes it's bad on fuel, but since I was so slow in it and had to pit ever other lap for tyres I hardly noticed that problem.

The last exhibition season ended on 16th January. 6 full weeks between seasons is too long! I need some FIA's :lol::lol:

Also, if we can change Manufacturer between this coming Exhibition season and the "proper" season I'm going to bravely roll the Ferrari dice again. I last chose them over a year ago and it didn't exactly work out. I'm sure I'm much better now though.....

I should email someone asking where my S is for the last season.
They mentioned something about the Manufacturers contract for last series being terminated when the new series begins. I'm sure we've normally lost our sponsored cars by now, so reckon we might be able to claim our S rank when they take the cars off us and we have to sign to a team again

Just so negative, we could play outside then it might be wet or set up a sprinkler system in the house. Don't know why anyone wants to race in the wet? It's bad enough using hard tyres on some tracks.

I just don't think we will see anymore content in GTS. Could be wrong, but I doubt it. And it's OK, they gave us so very much and I hope they are focused on GT7 now.

I’m 100% agreed that they’re focusing on GT7 but I still feel we are a long way away, In the meantime polyphony digital would release a patch to unlock more performance on the PS5 and give use a cars, track and Weather conditions or even more night racing. I feel this could be a good way to market what is coming to ps5 using GTsport. We know they have a GT sport build that runs at 8k and 120fps so I am sure they can do it,

Hi guys! So I’m fairly new to gt sport (but not the gt franchise, gt4 license school gang where you at?!) and I’m fairly new to using a wheel . But I’ve gotten good with it, so I have a question, what manufacturer would be the best with the new bop rules ? Last season I was able to do only the last two races as that’s when I started playing. With Ford. I would really like to sign with Ferrari honestly . Oh by the way ! I was able to hit 6:36 with a full setup and maxed power at the ring with the Ferrari 458 I’m so happy lmao .
But yeah what manufacturer do you guys think would be the nicest by the new bop ? I will be training with the Ferrari with the bop on at Nurburgring tho .

If you are pretty new, I would suggest going with a more balanced/forgiving car in your first full season and avoid the more "specialised and difficult" cars in the beginning until you manage to handle them properly. I would suggest Porsche if you like MR's(the only one which have two forgiving cars) or FR - Mercedes, Hyundai, Dodge, Chevrolet.

These are pretty much easy to drive cars and you can be competitive with them at most tracks.

Thanks for the reply, SIR!
but unlucky me the only one I’d actually like to drive there is the Chevy... and to be honest looking back at my last seasons two races, Driving the stang felt so sluggish. But when I do time trials at Nurburgring with the 458 I feel like it’s easier to drive for my style, I like a fast paced car . Even tho I still need to try it on the New bop ... would you say that the rari would be a good choice? (let’s say you’re a decent driver) how’s the tire wear and fuel consumption ? (Obviously taking in consideration short shifting)

So like for example I did 6:36 (not the greatest Ik don’t come at me please) at the ring with the rari full set and power. But when I tried the same with the 911 rsr I couldn’t keep it on the road, like yes it felt WAY less understeery but had way less responsiveness when taking turns in quick succession .

If you like Ford.but not the Stang there's always the GT

Oh well xD I honestly love the stang (I’m going to buy one irl next year) but since I drove the 458 I kinda got more interested in these “quick” cars .
You’re right tho . I never even gave it a thought !!!!! I’m going to buy one today and start training with the bop on ! Do you guys think that learning a car around the ring is enough or should we learn it around each track ?

Ferrari Gr3 is a handful with tyrewear, it will try to kill you when the tyres are used. I would recommend you to try the cars in a lobby with usage for tyres and fuel - it might change your perspective a lot.

The FR's are not that "pointy" and they are usually easier to drive, but that comes with the cost of rotation. They don't turn as well as the MR's and are more predictable with tyrewear.

All in all, you have to test the cars in race conditions - there will be differences from timetrial. For example, I hated the Gr4 Hyundai in timetrial, always pretty much in lower part of the table during my testing - but in racetrim it's a good balanced car, with no serious weaknesses apart from the slightly low top-end. But good tyre usage, decent pace and decent fuel consumption makes it pretty good in most tracks during a full official season.

Oh yes I’ve read about the worn tire Demon458 idk man I’ve got Ferrari and Ford in my heart, grew up in Italy loving both, Ferrari obviously because we Italians love our Raris and Ford because hell who doesn’t like Ford .
Anyways I will try them around lobbies ... I’m going to try the gt40 the 458 and c7 ... and maybe try again the stang because honestly I feel like I can push a lot with that car .

That should be all you need to know. Drive a car you feel comfortable with. Do some tests. If you can handle the tyre wear, go for it.
Although...
would you say that the rari would be a good choice?
If you're going to call it a 'rari' I'd stay away from it.

And why shouldn’t I call it a rari ? I’m not even going to let you answer, I’m Italian dude, Italians of my age ( 26 ) grow up liking a couple of cars, being, ANY Alfa Romeo. The lancia delta. Any Ferrari as that’s our pride and joy. And the Diablo. And now I’m talking about my age. Lol I’m going to call the Ferrari whatever I wanna call it . By the way do you know the likes of tazio nuvolari?

The Gr.3 Ferrari is very tail happy if you don’t have really good throttle control with MR cars. It’s good on fuel and decently fast, but very hard to control, especially on worn tires.

And, they’re just fake digital cars, don’t get too attached to any one of them, they’re just a tool, just pick the one that works the best for you and go race 👍

I used ford last season (my first season) and I hated it. It felt sluggish and really bad fuel economy the only good thing it had was top end speed. Looking forward to changing this time. I would just try out some cars in lobby races with fuel and tyre wear on and see which performs best
