My save-file is currently 3,069kb, with 1740 days. I have 96% game progress, 85% trophy progress and 1,016 cars (all of which are unique/individual models). I remember that there USED to be a save-file glitch, where the game would become unplayable after 3,900kb. My two questions are:


1) Does this glitch still exist for a minority? I know it was patched AGES ago, but does it still exist?

2) I STILL want to simply reduce my save-file size. If I trade ALL of my Museum cards, will the save-file size get reduced? Or could it actually increase?


Please answer these two questions of mine, people?

1) Doesn't exist any more. No need to worry.

2) Museum cards no longer massively increase the gamesave file size like they used to. So deleting them will not decrease the size radically either. The problem used to be when you opened the museum cars, but it was patched a long time ago.

If you want to still reduce your file size, delete paints and helmets/suits.

I lost my data recently, so it could happen. Keep back ups.

Trying to trade away the cards is a losing battle. You can send only 5 per day yet you receive 10.

Why are you worried about 3mb?

Fixed.

Because there used to be a glitch that made the game unplayable at 3.9, I thought that was clear. But I've also noticed increase load times as my file size gets larger, and I'm only at 2.4.

my save sata is about 4600kb. But i have lots of cars about 1500, over 3000 paints...
Never had problems even before the museum card patch

There was an update which solved this problem. Just take sure that you're not playing on an unpatched original GT5 copy.
