i started a dirty shuffle room if anyone is interested # 1472-6118-4259-7711-4191
 
pretty good dirty shuffle races last night. I think the room was at 16 people when i had to go to bed.
 
It lasted 1 more race at Tokyo Kart and then went to "vlean racing".
 
No racing is better than vlean racing.
 
Rally racing in my lounge tonight. Rally cars allowed if you can get them to 450pp.
 
How do I always miss these epic races of mass proportion..what time line you guys on? I am on Hawaii time..be jealous.. 👍
 
It's in the first post. 9:30 eastern time most nights.
 
So we are talking a 6-7 hour time difference..I might just make it tonight! No work this afternoon!
 
Not sure who is racing tonight. Osprey usually hosts Nurburgring night. I am hosting a Lemons race so don't join my lobby.

I suck at the nurb.

My 300sl was the best though. Very predictable. My other cars had loose rears at high speed. I left the last race cause I was getting bumped too much. No fun. Mickey or whoever. The one in the integra. I was rear ended in the start of the race which forced me into some people. Then, maybe it was just retaliation, but he kept bumping me at speed. I gave him plenty of room. My Rx7 just was too twitchy.
 
The Rx7 is twitchy. I switched to more 'predictable' cars early on too because I had not raced on sport softs for a while and my tunes were too stiff for them. The difference between a race soft and sport soft tune really became evident for me. I softened things up a bit later on and got back in the groove.. mostly. Looks like I need multiples of cars (and not just the Tacoma lol) that I race on both SS and RS tires. If only PD would give us the option of saving multiple tunes per car.

I'm okay with one tune per car and just having multiple cars, but we need something like labels or tags to keep the cars apart.

I don't understand why we can only access our B-Spec drivers online. Why can't my entire garage be online? Why can't I label and tag and tune cars online and just have it do a quick sync when I log back into the Playstation?

Yeah that would work too (labels) I'm thinking of just using paint colour to differentiate between them.
 
I don't run racing tires on my street cars anymore...but I guess the same applies with switching from CS to SS. I've got a few cars that I use on both nights. For others I've got dupes and I remember based on color.

It does well on Nurb for some reason. I've tuned the snot out of it and I am pretty happy with the suspension. It does suffer on the long straights due it's brick-like-shape - I may be able to squeeze a little more out of it using the transmission.

I noticed that some were using the same car.. I try to switch it up each race.
 
Me too. I get bored with the same car.
 
I have the same problem with my SSR. It really starts to lose speed on uphills and straights and it's only a 5-speed. I like to switch cars so I can tune multiple cars. It gives me a well rounded garage instead of having one super quick car and the rest being bad.

I am using different rim colors... //input a name on your setup would be great instead of A-B-C like in GT4.

I wish you could ban certain cars from your lounge/lobby, like all race cars, or individual cars.
 
That would be nice. Each time a car wins, drivers have to pick something else. Eventually we'll end up in samba buses and VW beetles.

Honda S800. It's available in the OCD.
 
The car doesnt need a tune really. Its on racing hard tires. Check the link i posted on the previous page.

Ah, so tonight you are doing the S800 RM?

Well, I have a non-GTP friend that I'm trying to get into online racing. If he can make it, then I'll probably post an open room number here. If he can't make it, then I'll see if I can make the S800 room.

I actually bought one months ago from the UCD. I thought it was fun, and since I'm getting a little better with recovering from oversteer, it may be even more fun.
