I just found this thread, it's awesome 👍 I have so many 450pp cars! What's the theme for tomorrow?

Prolly one make night. I hope yours are fast.. My 450pp suck. I need to find a 550pp group..

For everything PD gets right, two wrongs go with it...lol.

I'm starting to think that is a goal of theirs.

Have you painted a Tesla lately ? Try it. Weirdest sounding Tesla ever.

It took a few tracks, but once Nurb stuck the room was excellent though I really like the flow of Spa! I mustbuild up a GTO SR since GT NURs broke 7'46.xxx. Tuning automatic... it takes me a bit longer to gear, but if a 15 yr old Mitsu can run those times with that DT..I hope to have one for next week.

ps. Once I found out my HSC was running zero camber and fixed it...my nurb hot lap dropped from 7'49 to 7'46 after 1 race. If i can dial it in and not have to fight the carousels...I think 7'43s r the ultimate goal but i can see a more skilled driver can shaving 2-3 additional seconds.

thanks to those that came out as we had a full room most of the night. typically I keep it on Nurb Type V all night (where we started) but I thought it'd be cool to run Spa with the group.

I am going to revert back to reverse order on Nurb for the starting grid though, having to sit in the pits to make sure everyone's in before I hit start race and start at the back of the pack was OK for a while but got old at the end LOL. I did manage one last to first finish though in the MR2.

...and twitchy's almost competitive!! :D

Had fun when I was in the room last night. Was having trouble with my mic and eventually left. Will definitely be back again in the future.

Come back next week for part 37 of Twichie's neverending quest for 6th. Keep with it buddy and one day you'll reach obscurity!

There's nothing wrong with obscurity.

I hope he has a witty saying in his auto-message for when he wins.

I wish you could run Nurb Reverse...that'd be fun!

If you build it...they will come. Probably in their pants from excitement.

well.. I'm not really going for that reaction, but...

We've run it reverse a few times. Just have to turn around at the start.

Are you guys racing tonight? if so I'd like to join

nurb reverse is fun.

and if a lounge would let me stay longer than 30 seconds... i could give twitchie a run for 6th.

They are/were! No-tune 450s -- chuyler1's room

Its called Tuners club and we're not tuning...the suspense is dreadful!

stumbled upon you guys on accident tonight, only thing I had was a dreadfully slow clk55 amg.

Send a FrRq so its easier to find next time.

No-tune night turned out to be engine detune night. The BMWs, EVOs, and STIs dominated. I tried a bunch of different stuff but there was always someone with a faster car. I had a few good battles for 2nd and 3rd place though. Then I picked the BMW M3 and there was no one to battle with me up front.

Sports Hard tires were an interesting change. They don't hold heat like the SS tires so it really changed my braking, especially in that heavy Mitsu GTO. Combining those with a stock suspension had me lifting off the throttle a lot more than usual to keep the car on the racing line.

The low draft setting is also an interesting change of pace. You end up spending more time racing the same cars. Without the ability to slingshot past someone, it often takes multiple laps of waiting for them to make a mistake. I'd actually prefer longer races with this theme except for the fact it can be difficult to find fairly matched cars. Every race had groups of cars that could pull away with little effort.

450 no tuning is ok for a bit, but I think one-make races would be more fun if we're doing a no tuning theme.

Yeah. Problem is that not everyone has the cars. I guess we'll have to run cars from the NCD or something...since we've exhausted the limited options from the garage. I still don't understand why the garage can't be updated to match the room restrictions. For example, if you set the PP limit to 450, the garage should display all cars in the game that are close to 450.

If you pick from the recommended cars, won't it put everyone in that car?

You mean the same list of cars generated when a certain pp is selected in a shuffle race ?

Nope, to difficult, can't be done.

Lol...

If you pick from the recommended cars, won't it put everyone in that car?
Yes...but there are only like 3 cars around 450pp. Maybe 8 cars if you open up to 400-500pp. We've run them all.

You can include the online dealership. That is the same for everyone, and you know which cars everyone has access to for the next two weeks.

Maybe keep it 450PP tuned cars, but limit the drivetrains? That would level things out.

last nite was fun, vey limited selection on my side, had to stick to my tank heavy 07 M3..still not bad after not racing for 5-6 weeks..

see you guys around

What was wrong with the old 450pp SS tuned car set up? I thought it produced a lot of very even and close racing the few nights I was able to make it. With the new ability to limit vehicle drivetrains, you can now eliminate the NSX's, Evora's, 111R's etc., or 4wd's or whatever, and for a time or for a whole night limit it to one or several drivetrains. These options should produce even closer racing than it was before.
