What was wrong with the old 450pp SS tuned car set up? I thought it produced a lot of very even and close racing the few nights I was able to make it. With the new ability to limit vehicle drivetrains, you can now eliminate the NSX's, Evora's, 111R's etc., or 4wd's or whatever, and for a time or for a whole night limit it to one or several drivetrains. These options should produce even closer racing than it was before.
Nothing wrong...we just exhausted the cars to the point where we know what is fast now. I was thinking running non-tuned cars might reveal a few quicker cars. To some extent it does, but the cars that are quick aren't much of a surprise. Pretty much means that car selection is more important than tuning.
I have a few suggestions: Open the pp to 500 maybe? Would open the car choice for more variety. Change the tires to SH or SM. Would put a bit of a spin on things. Finally, before the room opens, somebody could post a Premium or OCD car that everybody buys and vehicle tuning is prohibited. HP is set a little lower than stock so everybody has the same HP. So what do you guys think? Maybe to keep the field sort of even, winner of each race adds 50kg or drops power by 5%.
I was about to suggest, maybe manipulate the pp around 450 a bit so the Elises NSXs and Evoras are not as dominant. Yes those cars are dominant at 450, but what about at 475 or 425 ? At 475 they may be down on hp and end up vulnerable to Ruf 3400 or the Art Morrison Corvette. At 425 a Miata or a Cappuccino may be able to beat them.
Change the name to The 450-ish Street Car Tuners Club ?
You can fix that issue by just not ticking the box marked "MR", When you set up a race, although of course it will exclude all the cars not as good that are also MR.
I haven't done a lot of non-tune racing but I'd guess it'll be much the same, cars that are fast are still fast, cars that aren't still aren't.
We haven't had a theme lately...and a lot of racer were racing in other series (probably why the 450pp club lost some steam).I dust off some old 450pp cars on the last nurburgring night...It was so much fun!!

I've been busy with school. I would attend more but it started a little late for me and i was only getting 2-3 races in a night, without staying up too late . It didn't help that everyone was doing race series i missed you guys hahaha
I thing the pp should be limited to 475. I have no good tunes for my 425-450 car. but have a great tune for my m3 where it can be competitive at 60% power on sport softs.

I might be on. I just realized there is a track 15 minutes from my new house. I've been missing out on some great dirty shuffle racing.
This is called the Flagpole event. Drivers have to make a loop around a tire each lap. I will have to catch one of these events next year. Keep your eye on the lincoln. He gets spun on the first lap and makes it a point to ruin everyone's race after that. LOL, dirty shuffle FTW.

Do it on Daytona with a "flagpole car" on the infield of the tri-oval. Then at some point of the race have the "flagpole" move to somewhere on the back straight.
Signing on in minutes...just running a little late. Wife freaked out because bee was in house...had to shoe it out before she'd be content with sleeping.
