Tonight, I am going to be running some Lemons testing. If you want to participate, please have the following:

* A car that is 345pp with an engine refresh and only performance based parts installed
* No more than 3% engine reduction to reach exactly 345pp. No ballast allowed
* Comfort medium tires
* Transmissions, suspensions, LSDs, and other non-pp based parts prohibited.
* Be prepared to add up to 30pp in bolt-on parts
* Track will be GVE-R and we will run multiple 10 lap sprints
* handicap points will be awarded as follows:

Top 5 finish: If you have no handicap, you stay at 345pp. If you have handicap, subtract 5pp for each top 5 finish until you are back to 345pp.
Out of top 5: Add 10pp to your car up to a max of 20 or 30pp (TBD) for each finish out of the top 5.

Confused? Just listen to me during the night and I will try to keep track and hand out the handicaps.

Benz clocked a Sub 6min lap on nurburgring 👍...it made me want to try again my Time Attack Evos to see if I could improved my previous (old) records...now I have 2 Evo below 6:40!Street Evo 8 RS 6:35.4xx // Street Evo 9 GSR 6:39.2xx online 540pp (6:42.7xx standing start) :scared: . I'll see if the 20's are possible....

Thanks Nic! 5'57 in a 660pp R35 TC from standing start. Had a couple of "better safe than sorry" moments though. 5'55's may be possible.

Users can now change wheels on Standard cars.

The settings sheets will include a new ‘copy’ feature.

In GT Auto, players will be able to see how the oil changes, aerodynamic parts, engine overhauls, and racing modifications will affect performance points and engine power, before and after their application.

Monday night I think we'll do another endurance. Until then, check each night to see who's racing. I won't be on very much these next two weeks because I have lots to do for the holidays including making DVDs of our old family videos from the 90's.
 
DLC Question:

"previous batch of DLC will now be available on all the user accounts of a PlayStation 3 console (they can be purchased from their respective dealers within the game)."

What does this mean? If we added the DLC to our main account, we have to then spend money in game to buy them for our secondary accounts? It cant mean that DLC is available to all, even those who didnt buy it, right?

Buying DLC makes it available only to PSN account that purchased it with the initial update. With this update, if you had previously purchased, it is available to accounts outside the one the initial purchase was made with. You now have to spend credits in game to buy the car(s) from the dealer instead of dollars to download/unlock with these other accounts.

If you did not buy DLC previously this does not pertain to you. You still have to pay to get the cars.

Family members or friends using the same PS3 can all use the courses and cars. Note that the upgrade doesn’t apply to the Racing Gear Pack or Special Paint Pack, and starting next week, new purchases will not have the restriction in place."

We’re planning an another update for GT5 in December. In that update users who purchased cars and tracks from the DLC already, can receive a free “family upgrade” in the PS Store, which will let all users in the same PS console use the DLC.

People who bought the DLC cars will have those cars added to the dealers in the December update.

After this December update you can purchase a second car and so on from the dealer.

It doesn't sound like the secondary accounts will be getting the cars without spending some in-game credits, but we are talking about PD, and Sony and how clear they have been in the past with everything.

The latest DLC doesn't seem to entice me too much. Ooooh a Cooper I won't use along with two VWs I won't use and another effing Skyline.
 
The Scirocco R and the Golf VI R may be good at 450pp. Especially looking at the scirocco, I love the look of them!

The GT 86 should be a beast if it's anywhere near its concept brethren.
 
This update is tempting.
 
Oh, I like the update. It is getting closer with every update to the game it should have been at its release.

I just don't see myself paying for cars I'm not going to use. I'd rather see more tracks because I have yet to run out of cars to run.

I like the kart seasonal that was released last night.
 
the 86 will be cool.

the others.. fwd/awd = no care = no dlc for this guy.
