rotary freak - negative front toe value can help turn-in as well as softening front compression and rear extension dampers. i suppose having soft front springs/high ride height would work too just a matter of tuning philosophy. ;)

I really wish the 300z was faster than it is.
Its one of favorite real world cars.

i would like to know your settings on your rx-7 chuyler.
Car is shared along with the 300zx. Take it for a spin and compare it to yours.

The one problem with 80's FR night is the lack of good cars. The RX-7 and that 88 Supra seem to be the best by far.I was running that R31 Skyline and i could get within 1 sec per lap but the Celica and GNX were worse than that by far.The torque of the GNX was a big help at Trial Mtn. rev but the tires were shot by lap 4 and the understeer monster was trying to smash me into the rocks every lap.

Are there many 70's era FR cars? Maybe the Disco era should combine the the Hair bands next time around?

was running soft up front and tried different camber settings but its just a mess. it will run great on tracks like Mt. Aso and Trial Mountain where in theres not a lot of tight turns and chicanes. it needs a little bit of tinkering or i will just set it aside for tracks specific race. The rx-7 would have been a better choice for me, still need to grab one quick from the UCD.

thanks for the advice guys! im starting to convert all my cars as 450pp racers. tonight will be another interesting race!

A 70s FR night would probably mostly be S30 Zs and C10/C110 Skylines.

and rotary freak, you just have to go and search for good 450pp cars. we have all been doing this for a while now, and have many cars available. i think i have 60, and all of them have upgraded everything. you need fully customized transmission, suspension, and i guess lsds now to compete. also, spoilers are pretty useless at this pp, and they are a waste of pp. these guys here are no joke. one mistake on a track and you are done.

nice collection you got there Rockin! agree with ya, judging by last night race, mistakes its all it takes between first and last!!!! 👍

thats a long way to go for me i only have 11 right now, 2 for the 80's, 2 for the rally, 1 for the muscle car night and the rest are for the open races. Most of my cars are fully tuned so droppin it to 450pp is easy if manageable. The 80's was new to me. I have no basis for the Celica tune, got to start one myself. :scared:

I find most suspension setups on this forum won't work well
You're right.. A lot of setup are lowered to the max with high spring rate and excessive camber:crazy:

Agree x2, Most don't tell you if they tuned it online or offline, controller or wheel, and those two variables are considerable.

Think you jinxed yourself when you said you had no problems with wireless ;)

I wanted to join tonight but I got kick cause I'm not a friend of chuyler1:( So I guess this is an exclusive club after all.

Possibly...but it wasn't wireless. I had no trouble streaming mp3s between my PC and the PS3. The connection issues were on comcast's end. I think they may have been throttling the PSN traffic, but I have no way of proving that. After about 40 minutes of tinkering it just started working again.

Send me a friend request so I know you are from GTP. The room has been filling up lately and I can't tell the difference between pubbers and GTPers unless you are on my friend list.

my apologies to fatrabbitbrain for punting him i think 5-6 times in that crazy dusty night rally in toscana. no matter what i do to avoid ramming him it was just crazy! visibility was just plain crazy! overtaking 2 guys in front of you just seems impossible!!! :guilty:

that Alaska course was even crazy, couldnt see a d*mn thing in front of me....
i couldnt help but laugh all through the race! hope somebody got the replay of that Toscana jumping sessions during the practice laps!!! :dopey:

By the time I found the room new room last night it was full. I'll try again on Wednesday. I should have my bluetooth working by then.
