Will do! Been watching some youtube replays of the tracks. I had the right idea with the lines i was taking but I kept falling behind on the straights leading me to think I wasn't carrying enough momentum. However it could just be the car. I was running the Yaw Control instead of the Diff+LSD. I'm thinking it may have been improperly sending too much power to the rear.
 
Wednesday nite is Dusk 'till Dawn on the Nurburgring. :nervous:

Chuyler, your running a wheel, im sure the input is more accurate than my DS3 you'll be the better judge, let me know too if my set up is ok.

tried experimenting with different combination from F70:R30, F50:R50R to F30:R70 and finally settled for 40F:60R i guess or was it 30F:70R.
but i guess it still depends on the track IMO.....
 
Can I use my 190e 2.5 evo tonight?

Absoultely! I just whipped up a few tracks with the course creator. I couldn't get ovals, but tri-ovals will suffice. It will be like pocono, except dirt!

I've got 4 tracks to try
1. Dirt Tri-Oval 1 (afternoon, moderate turns)
2. Dirt Tri-Oval 2 (morning sunrise, wide turns)
3. Sn-oval (basic 3 turn oval in Alaska)
4. Snow Cross (a large banked turn followed by some tight switchbacks)

We'll try some different settings as far as boost and damage go to get the right dose of carnage. It will either be Monday or Tuesday night.

Sunday will be 80's night again. I will leave it open unless people enjoyed the FR restriction.

Monday is going to be Muscle Car Mayhem: 1400kg FR muscle cars on Dirt/Snow tracks. Make sure you install the appropriate tires on your muscle car before joining the room. We will experiment with boost a little to create more action. Maybe alternate with it on and off for short 3-5 lap sprints. I have created a few tri-oval tracks for us to have fun on plus we can load up the rally tracks.

I have a bunch of quirky 60s and 70s cars. Would anyone be interested in a pre-1979 1000kg max night? Tuesday is open.
 
I like the idea of Muscle Mondays, that should be a constant. And then on Tuesdays everybody can come play around in my room. :dopey:
 
can we include (rwd) trucks on muscle mayhem.. :D 👍
 
I will not be hosting tonight even if the server comes back up. Just a FYI.
 
I most likely won't be hosting either. If PSN does come back online, someone can start a room around 9:00-9:30 and post the lobby id here so others can find it.
 
I would host, but count my stars...I'm partaking in a Wii party with my wife's friends from high school (at least the three that still live remotely close to us) Havent used the Wii or anything else since GT5 came out so hopefully it will be halfway decent.

LOL, We've got a Wii as well. It has been collecting dust since Christmas when we got the PS3 and GT5.

but, i think by muscle he means 60s and 70s cars, so trucks would not fit.
 
Yes, if people want we can do another truck night...but i am doing my best to keep the competition fair by restricting the cars to certain eras.

Mine is dragging me to the first night of "Arts Walk" festivities. Which, if you look to your left under my avatar, you will see that it is probably much worse than you are thinking.

How about one night be a single model race?
Like a pick a car, very light mods(suspension and custom trans) and we all use that one. Im not sure how that works but I know you can do it.

Someone different gets to pick a car each week.
 
I would be keen on single model night.

Also with Muscle car night, I noticed last week I was the only one with a modern muscle car. Maybe there needs to be a restriction on this? ie, pre 1980 or something.
 
Muscle car nite is supposed to be 60's - 70's american muscle cars.

Muscle Mondays and Truck Tuesdays. That way anybody who doesn't like trucks can come drive their sporty cars on some curvy tracks. :D
 
I'm watching the speed channel while my wife makes brownies...then we're gonna watch "Justified" the totally awesome TV show starring Timothy Olyphant.
