With only about 10 miles on my bus, I could get 128-129. I didn't install the LSD or mess with the suspension (not sure if it would show improvement anyway). I tried increasing/decreasing my final gear by very small increments and could never get any more speed. For the race I made it taller so I could hang out front after a draft pass a little longer.

We were running around 138 mph bump drafting and could hit close to 150 with a slingshot.

Do they get anything in return?

No they dont. ALL you need is one friend with the B-spec grind widget and your gravy

I haven't bothered with the seasonals in quite some time. I know its fast cash...but I really don't need cash. I've got all the vehicles I need and my b-spec drivers make quite a bit thanks to all my friends racing them (Thanks guys!)

leadbedr is the man! thanks:tup: someone is goin to host tonight? i was thinkin of a room with cars from online dealer

Regrettably, the person that runs your driver(s), can only run one of his drivers at time. It doesn't make any sense. I could see the limit being two, if there had to be a limit at all.

So, they don't get a lot in return. But, if I run my one driver with a full room, my driver makes more money than if he were to run in an empty room. In fact, all drivers make more money. And while I'm running your drivers, hopefully you re running mine. :)

My PC has been down for weeks, so I haven't been running any B-Spec races, but my rules for choosing B-Spec drivers included never taking a person's last driver (unless they only have one). That way, they can run races, too.

Yes, he is. He ran my drivers so much, I broke 19M in my wallet and had to stop cashing out my drivers. I'm down to 14M now, building cars that I won't get to drive. :(

1:52 -- You are center on the track, leaning toward the left
1:54 -- I attempt a move to the right side of the track
1:55 -- You move right leaving me no room to pass on the right
1:56 -- I correct my line and go left
1:58 -- I am along side you and you turn left.
2:00 -- I leave you plenty of room on the right to continue alongside me as we approach the hairpin.
.
1:52 -- You are center on the track, leaning toward the left (Yes its the racing line)

1:54 -- I attempt a move to the right side of the track (Wrong-your "G" meter doesnt flick to the left side which would indicate a right turn)

1:55 -- You move right leaving me no room to pass on the right (Wrong again.)

1:56 -- I correct my line and go left (Yeah you went left and went out of the track boundries to make the pass. And if you check the "G" meter @ 1 :57 it shows you making a hard right turn into my side, about 3 windows back forcing me off the racing line.)

1:58 -- I am along side you and you turn left. (Thats the racing line if you are actually racing on the track.)

2:00 -- I leave you plenty of room on the right to continue alongside me as we approach the hairpin. (Yes you did )

You race me clean i will do the same.

I love the new OD selection! 0 mile Mk I GTI, E-Type, 2002, and Interceptor. Lots of old 0 mile Lotus and American muscle cars for anyone interested.

I've already got it set up and running.

It doesn't flick because a) I'm pretty smooth when I pull out from the draft and b) the track is gradually sloping to the left anyway. You can see my g-meter flicker from about 5% to 2% then back to 5%.

1:55 -- You move right leaving me no room to pass on the right (Wrong again.)

Right at 1:56 there is no room for me to the right of you, yet there is 1.5 bus widths to your left...I chose left.

1:56 -- I correct my line and go left (Yeah you went left and went out of the track boundries to make the pass. And if you check the "G" meter @ 1 :57 it shows you making a hard right turn into my side, about 3 windows back forcing me off the racing line.)

Only reason I went off track was to avoid hitting you when you turned in on me.

1:58 -- I am along side you and you turn left. (Thats the racing line if you are actually racing on the track.)

If you were going 140+ mph and no one was coming up inside you...yes that is the racing line. However turning in and expecting someone who's got the run on you to back off on a full throttle part of the course is a bit over zealous.

2:00 -- I leave you plenty of room on the right to continue alongside me as we approach the hairpin. (Yes you did )

Again, I site the two times Nic performed this pass on me on the video. I didn't turn in on him and his pass was clean. I even think I may have been center on the track like you. However, I could've made his passes dirty by doing the same thing you did. Passing on a relatively straight full-throttle part of the track is about as clean as you get. You don't see me tapping you mid corner or divebombing...because I do race you clean and I wait for the straights to pass.

Did you read the news...Kazunori Yamauchi on Gran Turismo 5 Updates and DLC  I know its not for tommorow but...something good is coming! 👍

I feel pretty, so so pretty!

i started a room since no one else has # 1472-6118-3830-2744-9607

Had some decent races last night. The room filled up quick and there were some names i wasn't familiar with driving very competitively and clean. Decent turn out for a public room.

Corky-O is fast. Unfortunately after you left the next 2-3 races were 80% lotus elise. The only cars the top 5-6 drivers apperead to have were 111R and S2000

I had fun, and had some actual close races. They were all for last place, but at least I wasn't running around alone.

I usually kick corky. He races the same lotus every race and if you get close to him its very difficult to pass with his lag. If you want to race his pace, you've got to have the lotus though. Not many cars are faster.

Yes i think he won a few races, i should have asked him to change cars. I was usually battle Garris for last :D

I tried the Tesla for the first time last night and i thought it was pretty fun and a good mid-pack car.

Internet is broke again, so no racing until Tuesday.

Too bad your old god phone won't let you take part in 80's night. :(

Androids are good phones, I love the OS, but nothing beats a jailbroken and overclocked iPhone.

Androids are cool, my dad's HTC Sensation can become a 4G hotspot! Connection speeds aren't that good but hey. The iPhone 4 is still awesome.

Except a rooted and overclocked dual-core Android phone.

AOK, you've been warned multiple times...and that was your last night in my private lobby. You can join in on public lobby nights (not hosted by me) but everyone in my lobby is fed up with your divebombing. You were warned after Tsukuba, and I saw you do it again to Booch at TGTT, then me at Nurb GP/D. You're a fast driver, we get that...but that doesn't give you the right to push other drivers off their racing line, lean on them, then go flying past. If you make contact during a pass attempt...you've got to give back the position.

Tsukuba -- My Lancer was pretty quick in a straight line but I've still got horrible grip in the turns. Booch and Esh were putting heavy pressure on me in the hairpins so I actually slowed my pace a few clicks in the turns to make sure I didn't run wide and leave an opening. We battled lap after lap until AOK showed up to the party. First he makes contact with Esh on lap 7 and there is some bumping back and forth but Esh comes out ahead. So at the start of lap 8 AOK divebombs and pushes him out. Esh was a car length away from Booch entering the turn, and AOK ends up 5 car lengths away exiting. That is not a clean pass. Then on the final hairpin from about 5 car lengths back, AOK divebombs Booch, leans on him and pushes him out so he can battle me. Granted I was braking a little early...but if you make a mistake like that...you pull over and try again...that's what it says in the GTP OLR which everyone else in the lobby seems to understand except you.

Nurburgring GP/D -- Pretty decent battling going on...except AOK's divebomb to catch up on lap 3. He had fallen out of the draft and rather than just accept that, he completely misses his brake zone and uses my car to turn in. I was in the process of getting passed by Nic so I had my car set up for an over-under to get by Nic exiting the turn. I still came out of the turn faster than AOK but it ruined my chances of passing Nic right there. I went from 1 car length away to 3 car lengths away.

Tsukuba was really tight for most of the race. I never felt I could brake as late as I wanted to and didn't quite have enough straight line speed to overtake booch even with the draft.

Nurburgring was a little different. I think the first 2 laps I ran somewhat conservative and then started to see where I could push it into corners, braking a little later, and gaining a few tenths here and there. If we had gone a couple more laps I probably would have been right up there in the mix. Ended up with a 1:41:whatever on the last lap as my best.

I was surpised at how much everyone broke apart at GVE-R. We usually have real tight races there. I didn't qualify so I started mid-pack. I pushed Nic for a few laps but we started too far back to catch AOK's draft. That 240RS is just a beast in a straight line. Nothing can catch it. Finally Nic had me run in front and I was quicker except for a few turns where the Lancer was pushing. I just can't get the right turn-in on that car. If I brake late it might as well be a sled. Even when I brake early it still has a tendency to understeer right past the apex. On the gas though, it behaves very well.
