Oh and I personally never visit GameSpy/IGN because it's only ever crap covered in more ads than I could ever navigate past. So I at least will never know when new 'information' is released on the site.

I personally think it's cool because at least she knows about cars. The other European voices are all just professional voice actors as far as I can tell.

now matter what you think about her looks, i think having the fith gear/top gear voice adds a little bit to the game. i hope she will be in the german version of GT4 as well.

As for IGN, thanks for the compliments on all my hard work, especially from you code_kev.

There are always going to be exceptions to the rule, it's like Microsoft occasionally producing something that's actually good. I personally think for the most part IGN is carp (yes, the fish, it's something new I want to get started online, just like pwned) but the stuff I've seen posted by you Arwin hasn't been in that mould, so I apologise for inadvertently throwing you in with that generalisation.

Can you give me an example of a video that sucks?

I'm just a bit surprised about your 3mb comment, because I complained to IGN that the videos I gave to them were expanded to a much bigger filesize/lower compression rate. They said this was because this is their default compression rate - though recently it has become better. Still I would like an example because most of the movies I watch (be it the free wmvs or the subscriber quicktime low or hi-res) were pretty clear.

The movies I make are usually less good, but that has to do with the fact that the movies I make from the PAL version are 50hz and I haven't managed to convince Windows Movie Maker to make wmvs at 25 fps rather than 30. :S

If it were up to me I'd upload DivX vids, but it's not up to me ...

I'm sure IGN makes quite abit of money anyway, well they should with the amount of ads they cram in out faces, the ones you CAN'T block

tbh I'd be tempted to subscibe to IGN, but the fact is, what you have to pay for on IGN can be got for nothing anyway from other sites.

btw I actually quite like IGN, the articles are good, so please don't think I'm a hater

I'd just like to say that the bird doing the voice-overs on GT4 has a terrible voice. What she looks like has nothng to do with it! Is she on-screen in her underwear while she gives you the lesson briefing? No. Does she do a striptease if you get all golds? No. So who the **** cares what she looks like?!? I'd much rather have a Japanese girl doing the voiceovers. A little broken English never hurt anyone!
