Groan ahead of time before first guy chirps up " easy in the 2J !"

HSV -010 was a quick 1:57 gold for me, saw a lone wolf Ts030 on top with 1:46, then a pack of 2J.

First lap I tried was a 1:57.966 with the Jaguar XJ13 '66. That car can go A LOT faster than my mediocre time. I'm just too lazy to try and improve my time!

Got gold by a mere 0.3 in my "08 Furai on my first lap. Went back with the 2J and beat my original time by 2.5 sec. Gold is gold and I have never needed to be at the top of heap. The 2J is always my first choice but I love the Furai so I chose it first. I did try another lap but only improved by another .3 sec. I'm all for using whatever you choose to drive, for me it is either the 2jJ or the Furai for 600PP. I watched the replay of the current leader in a TS030 and he/she came so close to getting DQ'd by inches but 10 seconds faster than me. What really bugged me was missing the 722,000 credits for my gold lap in the Furai. So I'm done. Good luck to everyone.👍👍

Edit: It's too bad that PD doesn't allow us to run these Super Laps/TTs with other cars and still get the credits. It wasn't that I needed the credits I just wasn't thinking about the credits because I was the first of my friends to run this event.

I am going to attempt to get into the Top 20 in this one. My time won't be registered due to an atrocious problem which also refuses to give me my Login Bonus, but I am going to try my absolute hardest anyway.

2J with the 650pp @praiano63 tune, powerlimit to get 600pp, changed a bit on LSD and brakebalance.
easy gold, and done. 1:54,439.
After a break tried again and adjusted myself to the car.
after 5 more restarts managed a 1:52,571, i'm happy.
Car brakes very good, i can do very late braking.

Also tried the Toyota TS030, but i was slower then with the 2J.

Tried it quickly once with the BMW Z4 GT3 but only got bronze, can't be bothered to properly set the car up for it. Will retry later in the McLaren F1 GTR, the HSV-010 or the TS030. :)

Had a quick go on this today :dopey:.....I used my tune from the Apricot Hill TT for the TS030.

Here is my TS030 tune from that TT. The only change I made was '0' front toe.

It needs some tweaking, but, it will do for anyone in urgent need of a tune 👍

Hope it helps!

I used it in a quick session after lunch (nap time here, in Spain :dopey::lol::lol::lol:), and used that tune wich gave me so good result in Apricot. I reduced rear DF to 700. Will try that 0 toe when I give it another go.

Got 1:57.569 and gold on my very first lap with the Toyota TS030. And that was even a pretty ugly attempt since I never drove this car before and thus wasted a lot of time with overcareful breaking and cornering. So the tune must be really great, it's an old 600pp SH tune from Praiano for Apricot Hill which can be found here : https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...turismo-red-bull-x2014-junior.291084/page-105 (post #3146)

Only difference I made was improving body rigidity as well.

I got 1:50.7 on my first lap last night for 25th place (now probably 5000). On my second lap, I was ahead by 1.8 when I spun out and quit. If I have time today, I'll shoot for 1:47.

Pescarolo C60 Hybride Judd (By Exeter)
Toyota TS030Hybrid '12 improved time by 3+Sec (by Exeter)

Not a very great time but won the gold for me.

Thanks SW! I immediately shaved about 7 seconds of my own time :). Enough to keep your blu line in sight on the horizon . Now I'll try shaving some more
